Guardian druid

Why does this keep happening. Blizzard just do the right thing and ban tanks from arena. It’s not difficult, Druid has 2 very viable arena specs. Paladin has 2 very viable arena specs without Prot.

I just watched a Tank druid double my damage and healing in a 60 second arena game.

Get a grip.

I don’t think it is good to ban any spec in arena although a lot of people on here (myself included hate it). I think the issue itself is the balancing and not the fact that some specs are really broken. At some point I feel like most things could have been broken but if blizzard balances it should be fine.

If you could play every spec although it might not be meta this game would be more fun. But what happens now is that 50% rerolls to what is a meta spec and the 50% who are not meta feel like it is unfair (numbers were taken from my 4$$).

People say that you should not balance the game around casual players but I feel like every game casual players to be fun.

Tanks are jsut not made for Arena Enviroments. They reduce fun of all other players involved in the game, even 10x more than facing fury,outlaw,bm + holy priest in 2s

I AGREE but I have never liked the thought of “banning” anything. Nerf tanks by 90% in arenas but don’t ban them. Maybe this is an odd opinion but I think that making more unique playstyles WHICH ARE FUN would just make the game more interesting from a casual viewpoint.

the issue is some has been in legion, some tank like prot warrior was able to get honor talent to deal damage so they could do a bit less than dps and a bit more survival than a dps.

The issue is they prefer to reinforce the tank honor talents and stats for RBG for flag holding instead of reforging the tank spec for RBG and Arena.
by so you could have :

  • Prot warrior : can be easely reforged into a pure dps spec in arena and tank tranfert damage in RBG
  • Prot pala : a healer when holy word cost mana like a healer do and also same mana regen than a healer ( WoG still need holy power) while his damage is reduced.
  • Guardian tank = Design for RBG Flag holding only
  • Demon Hunter Vengeance = Design for base defending and teamfight control in RBG, in arena it’s a full DPS role
  • Blood Death Knight = Can become a dps while increasing the damage on the target ( and nerf blood dk healing to make a dps healing only not a tank one)
  • Brewmaster Monk = Dps role possible

With that special role for each of them, tank would be normal in arena,
but right now they are treated as healer/ tank(RBG) and still they will be treated like that still they will be annoying to play with.

I agree, delete all the DK spamming H24 Death strike until dampening :smile:

Just make tanks take another 50% extra damage in arena and nerf all tank damage by 50% in arena.
If you play tank in arena you are a retard.

Guardian druids are so easy to take down. learn how to counter them and you can do it with your eyes closed. and no i dont play tank in arena. i encounter them and kill them ez mode. i play guardian in rbg

alright level 12 mage simmer down… if you play a healer in arena your a dumbass anyway xD

Sure did love 90% dampening matches vs guardian+melee in BFA

Tanks aren’t designed for PvP at all, you’re meant to be hit and soak damage to be effective, so whenever a tank is viable it’s because it’s overtuned.

Bascially.

Because for some dumb reason, Blizz decided that tanks should do high damage. I hate the design philosophy. Tanks should do very low damage, and their job should be to taunt and tank damage. Now you enter arenas, and tanks like Prot Pala fart on your face dealing damage equal to a DPS, while being immortal unless you play with a broken spec who can take them down, coupled with countless utility
