Personally i find this a bit much, specially regarding our lack of a specific magical negation, as we rely on our self healing, what do my fellow Guardian Druids think?
Bring back Adaptive Fur and maybe it would be okay but still.
Copied from Wowhead.
‘‘With high armor and Ironfur uptime, druids should be one of the best tanks at surviving physical damage. We’re slightly increasing the damage they take from all types of damage and balancing the power of their self-healing. We’re also reducing the durations of some of their cooldowns to make timing their use more important.’’

Depends on the damage intake. If like they said damage is going to be a lot smoother. Then bear should be fine. Like ur gonna take 50 or so % of ye oldie health and heal 20% up. They want healers to do more for the tank. However, if the damage is really spiky then it’s never gonna work. Like if you take 50% and then take another 20% from autos. Then ur taking another whatever from passive. The healer is going to feel like they have to baby sit the tank outside of CDs. Which is not a nice place to be.
So far what I have seen from the beta (have not played just vids tho), the damage looks over tuned. So, it’s really hard to say. Though I think bear is due a huge rework for their talent tree. Like there are just certain things that need huge reworks.
Especially early in the season, you will need all the damage reduction you can get. I can see a world where you go all the way to “rend and tear” and then get “scintillating moonlight”. With “Blood frenzy” for more rage with “galactic guardian”. As we will be rage starved.
Depends, if your going for Elune’s chosen one, you get 3% extra magic damage reduction and your passive self-heal from arcane damage should be considerable. Trash becomes arcane damage fully so you need the synergy talents on baseline trash.
I’d just wish I’d get my melee range back on near character abilities… even if it would just be 3 yards on swipe. It just… doesn’t feel the same anymore when running around and gathering mobs.
For trash the animation doesn’t even fit anymore, as it shows a clearly larger radius than you’re hitting.
