Guards, to combat wpvp ganking

So im not a person to complain but it would be really great if i could go into nazjatar, im on quel’thalas a horde dominated server and right now i cant even go into the zone cause 20-30 hordes are campign the spawns. Would it be possible to add more guards and buff them upp so players can have a hubb to relax/ in that dosent mean you can be ganked for 3-5 deaths.

Its like trade market in boralus hordes can go in ther and no guards will attack them as they kill alliance. Its great if you can raid citites but make it harder so players who enter the zone dosen’t die as soon as they get in. so far najatar is a pain in the (censored language…) with wpvp but thats my choice. i mean you can have hordes in the middle of the hubb and guards wont even react to them cause there aggro is not long enough.

unplayable it is not , i mean im playing in it but there is need for balance and improvmenet , since warmode is diffrent from non wpvp there is need to adapt the world to that by makeing certain areas harder to get to. You learn to adapt but currently its harder then it should be. For ppl trying out warmode being corpse camped for 5 or 6 deaths should not be what keeps you out.

Guards are just a deterrent. PvP = player versus player, not player versus npc.

exactly but atm there is not much of a deterrent, since you can run around them or just avoid them while still ganking ppl , example there was a gaurd standing next to me not attacking as i got attacked just as i exited a portal. hence they are there to deterr ppl from being able to spawn camp players when they enter a zone ,

Please, no. If you dont like wpvp, turn off the warmode. There is nothing restricting you from that. I would rather see them balance shards fraction ratio so that 30 v 1 fights dont happen but not add demigod guards. Guards spawning system in major cities is one of the stupidest thinhs I have ever seen (spawning infinitely, ignoring walls…)

its not really wpvp its just a spawn camp slaughter , since the "base or main hub is not defended , jaina genn just look on as they kill things its really frustrating. don’t give me the turn wm off im fine with being fraked up outside a main hub but its like if they went into dalaran raided everyone as the guards stood there watching.

happens every single pvp event now , ppl are turning off wm cause its not worth that pain. I like wpvp i dont like that the place which should be our main base cant be defended at all i mean hordes can run thru the base with barley any dmg taken. Im not talking demigods but at least make them able to defned the place and hurt ppl. Its like change too ppl is either 1 or 100 000 im talking more guards and give them a little bit higher dps. im angry right now i clicked on nazjatar as soon as i enter the zone im dead. thats not wpvp thats just exploiting

In Aion, a game made only for faction world pvp, the guards were like a boss
You needed a strong grp to fight them or keep them aggroed till the rest can kill the players in that settlement, here? AOE FIESTA THEM TAKE NO DMG IF UR IN A GRP…

I think thats the way it has been in every ncsoft game i know of. Since lineage 1.

Ncsoft atleast knows how to deal with things.

so turned off wm on almost all toons and im actually completing quest and makeing progress instead of being ganked as i enter each zone and its not just even nazjatar its allso mechagon. it was not as noticable cause Kultiras and zuldazar was bigger and less compact. nazjatar is very compact so you rn into hordes a lot more.

to me its just been frustrating logged o rouge and stood in the room with most npcs hiding as half npcs dident attack the hordes as they slaughter ppl. and then a few npcs die and run out and back. its soo one sided that its not fun. i want guards to be able to huard us and to make it so there is a saffe haven you should not be able to mass kill guards so easily. argument is they are gonna buff em too much but honestly if you cant kill ppl as they are loading in im fine with that

Lol no. They should actually nerf the guards. Dmg and health is fine but the edless spawns + net is not. Can’t kill anyone near a camp as they always get away because of the guards spamming nets not on DR.

As a dps I can litearlly run into the alliance camp, pull every guard simultaneously and kill them while facetanking them

Yeah but if you run in there chasing an alliance player he will get away.

well aint that the point , that you cant chase someone constantly and there is no safe haven at all. i mean you can run straight thru and the guards jsut need to be able to defend the players from getting killed if afk etc , im talking about giving some kind of defence

Nah, they are just a deterrent, working fine. Players can group up if needed.
