Guild Master Dethrone Problem

Hi there Blizzard & Customers

So! I have recently had to unfortunate issue of being unable to take my guild back from the current Guild Master due to everyone else in the guild all being classed as Rank 7 - Automated service states that the player wanting to take over guild leadership requires either rank 2 or 3 in order to do so, so this situation is what i would call a problematic loophole.

I have spoken to a Guild Master via Live chat and they are unable to do much due to the strictness of the rules laid out for them which is fair enough,

But… the automated system seems a bit floored in this aspect as no one will ever be able to take over the guild - I have tried sending in game mail to the current GM as our time zones must be different asking for leadership to be passed back ect but i’ve had no reply, so i am now in the mind set that the automated dethrone system needs more exceptions added for instance if there are no rank 2 or 3 characters in the guild after the Guild Master character has been offline for 90 consecutive days then it should go to the next highest ranks and in this case it is Rank 7

Any help would be great regarding the issue and i know it would be easy enough to just go back to my realm with the character i have in this guild pay the money and start the guild from fresh but the memories are with this guild and i have a full guild bank (TABS - there is no value within the bank its self)

I just want my guild back but have fallen into a loophole

I can see your problem, i’ve seen the same happen in guilds where no one logged on anymore and i was the only one playing, i couldn’t do a thing i just left those guilds.

On the other hand, as a guildmaster since vanilla of my guild, i don’t want my guild to get dethroned off of me so i made sure no one but me in my guild has rank 2. Rank 3 and 4 i even named “Detroneprotect” the first char that isn’t mine has rank 5.

I paid for all the tabs, everything in there i put in there is mine, a lot of guildachievements were done by me alone.

The minute that i will get even the slightest smell of anything about this system being changed so it gets easier to dethrone me, i will kick out every char that isn’t mine. (and those are in my guild cause they didn’t want to leave their chars unguilded and stay connected to me)

My advice is to leave and figure something out that works for you also.

Yeah i totally understand where you are coming from - thats pretty much what i want to do - i want my own guild back and want to be able to keep it - but the situation wont allow me access

The worst thing is I think the new GM has set the guild up like that so no-one can get it off him, even if he replies I don’t think you will get it back.
