The naming conventions usually go like this:

PvP = inside joke, team name, or nonsensical meme names kind of like how people would name arena teams back in the day like ‘‘free chief keef’’ or something

PvE = 2 syllable words like Limit or Power for the ELITE guilds, then 3 syllables or more for top 200 or below, like Horizon, Invincible, Reality or someting. Keep in mind, if your guild is serious about its PvE it must only contain one word.

But RP guilds are a bit more free, most RP guilds usually have names about the game, as you said, you could name them like ‘‘Gnome Gang’’, or ‘‘Murloc Marauders’’ or something.

This so much. I use an Instagram post analogy.

Pve guilds are like those “motivational posts” that sell common sense as some kind of life changing insight, so they typically use simple words that are like “woah, that’s profound”. - Impact, Decisive, Wealth, Serenity, etc.

PvP guilds are meme posts. You have to get it - Change My Mind, Sudden Right Turn, Distracted Boyfriend Whistle

RP guilds are those posts with multiple scrolls which tell a pleasant story except the end and then ask you to click a link to find out what happened next - Knights of the Secret Oath, The Last Seafarers Guild, Etc.
