GuildFinder+ Addon

To try to address some of the issues with the in game Guild Finder, I developed an addon - GuildFinder+.

It stores the recruitment listings to a store, keeps them up to date, and adds guild data over pulled from Blizzard’s public profile data.

Some features that it adds:

  • Players — how many were active in the guild in the last 7 and 30 days, counted by account, so someone’s alts count once.

  • Raiding — this season’s boss kills at the guild’s deepest difficulty, from the guild’s activity feed. Last season from its achievements.

  • Raid nights — the weekdays and start times it has actually raided on, read from four weeks of those kills.

  • Mythic+ — the deepest key level a core of its players has timed, and how many hold this season’s Keystone Hero.

  • PvP — the season’s rated ranks and bracket titles, each player counted once at the highest held.

  • Pace — how fast tenured players (those 30d or more in guild) are earning achievement points, scored against the region’s guilds of similar size.

The board

It tries to cover every guild in the region with five or more players active in the last 30 days — listed or not — so you can look up a guild that isn’t advertising (and then search for a listing) Click on a row and it opens a guild page - where you can apply. It also lets you keep trying of applications pending.

Available on Curseforge

Careful with advertising - it goes against the forum ToS. :upside_down_face:

Thanks for letting me know - I didn’t realise!
