Why was the chest removed? It’s sad to see the arena so empty.
This video made me wonder how the Chest would work in retail. Looks like fun!

I think the arena would be packed if the chest was there. It’s empty as I have heard the chest was removed after vanilla for some reason
No its still there hence the achievement

Yes in retail spawns at set times
Short John Mithril will normally do his call-out at 00:00, 03:00, 06:00, 09:00, 12:00, 15:00, and 18:00 server time. However, because of the fact that the Gurubashi Arena Booty Run is set every three hours instead of at certain times (the server does not check the time, it simply counts out 3 hours), during Daylight Savings Time, the chest will not spawn at the normal time, but either an hour later or an hour earlier than usual.

Is the Trinket good? Like are there people trying to get it at level 120?
I do not know people just do it for the achievement now so i could not say really sorry .
I don’t know what source you’ve got that from.
In the future using Wowhead will give you the best results. If you can’t find it there try wowpedia.

Well some free for all matches would be nice , ones u can queue and not go to a specific zone .
The Arena was not removed after Vanilla after all the achievement was added in WOTLK like any other achievement and is not a Feat of Strenght. In fact the arena was changed years ago to also drop a trinket for character that has earned the achievement of winning 12 times. The 13th you win you will earn a heriloom version of the arena trinket. The same happens in Darkmoon Faire Arena.
