they objectively are but the players overall are not.
Anything they can control, they alienate.
This has been been documented so many times even by streamers in situations like classic wow and even panda remix.
No matter how trivial the content is- players will alienate anybody that doesnt sweat unnecesserily they way they do.
Yes I love sitting in LFG for hours staring at a list of 0CR players requesting 2.4k R1 exp only… Or finally getting a team losing one or two matches and then disbanding over and over.
I agree that original arena is better than shuffle but it just isnt accessible to anyone without decently high recent exp or actual friends that want to play pvp and happen to be an appropriate class as well as roughly similar skill level.
Its the players that are ruining 2v2 and 3v3 not Blizzard. The amount of toxic gate keeping and expectation of only ever having to play with glads. Also the fact that since “teams” dont rly exist anymore, LFG is pretty much always only looking for the meta comps and the fotm classes. If im playing a class that isnt considered OP why is someone gonna take me when they can get a DH or Ret pala and get easy wins at least up till 2k+ etc?
I dont get how people think they have to sit longer in lfg when they make a group for 2s/3s? Ofc it can depend on the requirements you set or if ur really high cr ofc, but outside of that I usually just invite anyone around the cr/gear of the char im playing, and it always takes a few minutes tops
still waiting on arena skirmish getting some love, it’s got fast queues, less pinball between teamsetups in the same match which is stupid, and it’s more real compared to regular arena, but i guess solo shuffle is a great novelty, almost like blitzball where we’ll run around with 50% increased mobility collecting mario kart powerups
If you dont have high CR or exp or titles then its horrible. Still if you happen to be playing a meta spec then you can eventually get a team though whether it sticks around for more than a few matches is anyones guess.
However… If you happen to NOT be playing one of the meta specs… your just screwed.
Like as ele or enhance shaman… shuffle is about the only time i get to play 3s. Because while there are some that are high rated that have teams, its usually established teams or because they already have high exp to use to get a foot in the door. Theres literally no comp for ele or enh that isnt just stronger and easier replacing the shaman with something else. Its the same with a lot of specs that due to poor balancing are just sub optimal choices and have no “place” in any of the meta comps.
Hell LFG might as well be renamed to “LF Shadowplay” at this point lol
Tbf what Ive seen most dh+disc comps in 2s even with barely any exp seem to do fine with just pve rotations. Sure you can punish them if they dont think for nothing but still its not fun witnessing some of them with these comps only doing pve rotations and play on 2.2mmr.
