Requirements: ALL ROLES are currently open; so long as you know your spec(s), you’ll be considered! Strong logs from either this tier or a recent one is highly desirable, but not essential. We’d also consider high-end M+ players wanting to progress into mythic raiding.
Who We Are Looking For: Anyone who has both provable knowledge and ability with their desired role and specs, who wants to take either their first or next steps into mythic raiding alongside us.
What We Expect: To fit in with , we expect several things from raiders:
- Strong grasp of raid mechanics, and ability to learn fights reasonably quickly and play consistently
- Perform well in your role; consistent grey log parses as a trial don’t look the best!
- Come to raids fully prepared and optimised to get the most out of the raid times, with attendance >90%
- Be a likeable person who’s fun to be around; we’re all supposed to like the people we play with after all!
In asking for these things from our raiders, we hope to create an atmosphere where raiding is still fun amongst people we all like, while making consistent progress week on week.
About Us: Ethical Cooldowns are a newly-created guild, formed by several friends with a common goal in mind: to step back into mythic raiding with a group of players who share our goals, and are both serious about progression but with a relaxed, laid-back attitude. While we have primarily focused on M+ in Dragonflight, we have many years of raiding experience between us (myself going back to 2007, with CE experience and several top 1000 kills). While we are forming the guild, we will be continuing with heroic raiding progress until the raiding team is fully formed, whereupon we aim to progress into mythic raiding.
Our goal for this tier is to get at least half the raid done on mythic, with ambitions for Cutting Edge in future raid tiers. We feel we’d be perfect for anyone who is looking to move onto the next tier of raiding, potentially coming from a pugging environment, who might not necessarily have the experience in mythic but do have the ambitions for it, as well as the ability to back this up (as evidenced through logs or otherwise).
