[H-RP, Blood Elf] Sun's Embrace - Military Guild!

Bal’ a dash, fellow Argent Dawners! I’m satisfied to finally present the Sun’s Embrace to all! A recent guild created by me with the help of a friend. After years and years of officer-ing in certain guilds, I’m more than certain I can maintain the responsibility and work needed. I’m more than happy to reply to any questions or doubts if there is any, as well!

While Sun’s Embrace might not be so different from other similar Thalassian Military guilds, I’d like to think what makes us a bit more special and stand out is our commanding system, and perhaps the rank system as well. And the concept of the guild is also slightly different!

  • What’s Sun’s Embrace?

Sun’s Embrace is your regular Thalassian Military Guild, based in Silvermoon of course. It seeks to defend Quel’Thalas from any harm, while bringing the least amount of harm possible. They’re patriots and loyalists to their homeland, yet… their thoughts differ on the faction their homeland is currently standing it. The High Blade herself would rather see Quel’Thalas stray afar from the savage Horde! Yet she keeps her opinions to herself instead of voicing them, mostly. Many from the commanding team share similar thoughts. The Sun’s Embrace don’t consider the Alliance as enemies, yet they do what they must for the protection of Quel’Thalas, and they know that if the Horde falls, Quel’thalas will shortly share the same fate as the Horde. The Sun’s Embrace refuse to spread any meaningless bloodshed, and only fight when necessary. They also possess reasonable morals and will refuse any bloodthirsty berserkers or such.

  • Ranking System.

  1. High Blade : Acts as the Commander of the unit. First in command.

  2. Aide : Acts as the right-hand of the High Blade.

  3. Council : The base of the Commanding Council, members with the Council rank deal with most issues within the unit. Each Councillor will most likely be handed a small group of soldiers to train as well.

  4. Exemplar : This rank is for those who are deemed perfect by the Commanding Council, an appropriate model for those who are lower ranking.

  5. Proven : This rank is gained when someone proves theirself to be an official member of the Sun’s Embrace to the Commanding Council.

  6. Adherent : This rank is gained by enlisting in the unit, It’s for the new members who have yet to prove their worth to the Commanding Council.

  • Uniforms

The Sun’s Embrace don’t have any strict laws on uniforms, yet they must be fit for combat, and go along with the Silvermoon tabard.

  • Event System

There’s no specific event system that’s concrete, It all depends on who’s DMing the event and which roll system they would like to use, or what type of event it is, or how many members are currently participated in the event. Of course, the guild will be informed of the event system that will be used a few hours before the event.

And, I’d like to say this is all I have! It will hopefully be entertaining to lead this guild! It’s currently OOC, but I’m planning on making it IC very soon, once we get a few members in! Al Diel Shala for now, friends.

Very cool concept. Only change I’d reconsider is a uniform: even if it’s just one armour slot (a helmet, or pauldrons) it can really create a sense of unity for military guilds and offer a cool aesthetic!

Hello there!
This a really, REALLY cool and Awesome concept, and i really love it!
Lynthala herself is a close friend of mine, and she is a very nice, cool person, and you’d surely like to join her guild and have her company!

I strongly recommend this cool idea, as i really love the concept and the bunch myself, if my own belf wasn’t already in a guild, i would’ve join without a doubt!

i echo bearan here.

i’d like to also suggest the good ol’ use of “this colour and this colour” scheme kinda thing as also an idea you could press for uniforms.

Always the officer, never the GM…I admit that resonates a lot with me. So I will be interested in seeing how Suns Embrace blossoms. :slight_smile:

No matter how small your guild may start off, it will grow if people see you put love and energy into your guild. Even throwing up events for a group that may not manage beyond five people at first will make a difference in the long run. It’ll differ to being an officer for someone else’s guild, but as long as you have passion for how you want your guild to be and put faith in your officer team, I am certain you’ll do great!

Reading this really puts a smile on my face, I’m already trying to put as much work and love into the creation of the Guild and It’s really satisfying when someone tries to spur you to continue your hard work. I had few interactions with your guild and they’re lovely :heavy_heart_exclamation: I can’t wait to start planning a few events for my guild members, and I’m extremely excited to perhaps do a few collab events sooner or later.

Always lovely to see more Sin’dorei guilds about! Always lovely to see more guilds about to be honest! Especially those who’re less hateful towards the Ally side. Which of course my own relate to a lot.
