[H-RP] Blood Howl

Today the Guild Turns 10 years old.

I have been part of it for 9 of those years. We have gone through a few Guild masters in our years. It did not stop us.

We kept on creating stories for our members each week. We have joined War efforts, fought Cults, Traitors, and Demons. Have worked along side many different guilds. some of who are no longer around. we forged allegiances with guilds that still hold on today. but we too suffered like most guilds during the Shadowlands content drought. nearly called it quits there.

But it was for our members, who wanted to keep Role playing together, even when we had only 3 people show up on event days. That we have not quit. Since then we have grown into something different, something almost as lively as we had back in our Hey Days of Legion and BFA. And i could not be more proud of our members, as their Current, Guild master.

Here is to another 10 years Blood howl!

Blood for blood!

It has been a good long while now since Blood Howl encountered a group of void cultists in Dustwallow marsh, here Kor’kosh Ironaxe was struck by a spell turning him to stone and taken away. The Blood Howl was left both in shock and devastated after such encounter as the leader of these cultists toyed with their minds.

News of this reached Chieftain Yorah Tallstride, whom took the news of the capture with a heavy concern. Yet hope remained as Lady Estelle Silverbloom’s scrying spell traced the cultists to Khaz Algar. With friendly allies and an Earthen as their helpful guide as well, it was decided that the Blood Howl left for Khaz Algar, hunting the cultist and searching for Ironaxe!

It was a sight to behold for many of the Blood Howl who never had seen nor set foot (or Hoof) upon this newly discovered continent. Yet they would meet this new land with an open mind and their journey took them to Hallowfall. The Deep cavernous depths were truly a sight to behold for them, never had some of the Blood Howl’s brave members, seen anything like it before. As much as it was awed to behold it was of equal concern, for where would the cultists hide?

Blood Howl established contact with the Arathi and was aided by a lamplighter by name of Melody Galewind whom were their guide. Their journey in the cavernous depths led the Blood Howl to several encounters with these crazed cultists, claiming that they were adhering and following the will of a being they referred to as; The God of the Void.

Blood Howl’s journey led them further down into the darkest of these cavernous depths as they ventured into the Nerubian zone of Azj-Kahet and experienced encounters unlike any before hand. With the aid of a Weaver Sage named Jek-Var, Blood Howl came closer to finding Ironaxe, while offering their own aid to Jek-var in exchange for information of rumours of the cultists whereabouts.

A final move was taken as a location had been pin pointed via scrying spells and a map and Jek-var’s information, it was time to strike and retrieve Ironaxe.

The Blood Howl encountered a strong force of cultists and nerubians and no less the leader of this cult group that had ascended in the Void, becoming an angaelic horror of the voids dark forces. A foe not to be trifled with.

With the blessings of An’she, the Blood Howl were prepared and engaged with a stalwart bravery and fury, hell bend on saving their own from the clutches of this void angel. A fight that lasted long and put them all to the test. And ultimately the Angel of The Void, met their end at the hands of Chieftain Yorah Tallstride, whom had enough and purged the Angel of the Void for good to nothing but a charred corpse by the light’s righteous holy fire. An’she’s wrath had been delivered.

A telemancy device provided by a friendly ally, Lady Estelle Silverbloom provided transportation for the Blood Howl to return home. There a pair of troll allies would offer aid in shape of potions and voodoo of a witch doctor, to undo this stone prison of Ironaxe and free the Warsong orc once more.

The Blood Howl was victorious and stayed true to their principles of the Horde’s ideals. Strength and Honor.

Winterveil Holidays!

So it has once more come to this time of the year, that Blood Howl is officially going on a holiday break from adventuring out in the wide world of Azeroth (Outland too!) and what a blast of a year we’ve had!

We’ve welcomed in some new members over this year and had some fun events and stories! We’ve been part of some fun campaigns and hell did we enjoy all of it!

We’ve had a lot of positive responds and feedback from the general Roleplaying community of Argent Dawn, we thank you humbly for all of it! It means a lot to us!

The War Within launched this year and hell did we enjoy it a lot! We sat at the Dalaran ruins as the official launch for everyone went live to greet and welcome our fellow players & RPers! It was something!

We have also had our 10 year anniversary! and by the ancestors and Grom Hellscream’s long hair did that feel awesome to celebrate and be proud of! (Yorah’s grown quite a fair few gray if not white fur and beard :stuck_out_tongue: )

We had our very own Earthen (stone-dwarf!) join us and further on this we ventured out to Khaz Algar for a TWW storyline which was quite a fun Co-op story between Yorah and myself which ended with a fun blast!

This Friday the 20th of December we have celebrated our Winterveil feast and had secret santa, feasting and of course fun games! Our very own goblin sharpshooter took axe-throwing to a whole new level and a troll druid showed us how to play totem toss!

We will be enjoying our break and holidays for sure!

From all of us in Blood Howl! We wish everyone out there a Happy Winterveil! (& a very Merry Christmas & happy holidays! )

The Blood howl are back from their vacation, and problem was brewing in Stone Talon Mountain. Mirages of a time long gone started to pester the goblin from the Sludgewerks. The Howl alongside Damar, and Lyssameara, made swift work of them, once these mirages started to mistake them for the enemy.

The Blood Howl is back in action and back in the Barrens!

After hearing of a spike of attacks of caravans along with signs of increased activity from quilboars and harpies, the Blood Howl has riden to the southern barrens to deal with the threat themselves. Thus far, the warband has managed to free Horde captives along with slaying quilboars and a harpy witch.

But there is much we have still yet to learn. Orcs, seemingly veterans of the Second War, have been fighting alongside the quilboar and harpy. Curious still, the harpy witch carried upon her a cursed item and the quilboar were seemingly possessed. And then there is a presence watching over us that one of our vulpera has taken note of. All we know is that we must venture into the Kraul to uncover more.

We also wish to announce that for the foreseeable future we will be closing recruitment of new members to the guild. Over the holiday break we’ve had an influx of new members which has been wonderful! But we want to give everyone time to adjust and to settle into the guild.

Blood Howl has been busy since returning to their duties of aiding the Horde, all from suspicious goblin activities in Stonetalon mountains to dealing with some cultist like foes dealing with necromancy. The Blood Howl will continue it’s investigations and hunt for either villains and ensure they are brought to justice for their actions against the Horde and it’s lands.

Our adventures continue with a solid coherency, however we do not forget to also take care of ourselves. Recently we’ve had fun attending social events like the market in dawns blossom and also some of our members enjoyed themselves at the Lunar Festival in Moonglade!

For the time being, we are still closed on recruitment as we continue to allow new members to settle in with us!

The Blood howl has travelled to the cold steppes of the Borean tundra. Here they started their journey to reach Conquest hold. to partake in the tournament. On their way they stopped in Taunka’le village, where they helped the locals deal with noisy Goblin industry trying to harvest dark materials. The Goblin problem proofed to be bigger than they anticipated.

Now they need to earn the trust of the Taunka’s to have them aid them in dealing with a goblin instillation who are mining for Saronite for reasons still unknown.

Our adventures in Northrend have come to an end for now and the Blood Howl is back in Orgrimmar!

While in Northrend, we returned an elemental back to its kin in Dragonblight and a few of the Howl joined Conquest Clash II last weekend. Our very own Zycorax claimed the title of Champion and now carries with her a new sword as a reward for her victory.

The call to aid will some come again and soon enough we’ll once again travel to Nagrand to join the Kosh’harg.

We’re once more preparing to answer calls for aid that very well will take us into Dustwallow marsh in the coming week!

More so we’ve celebreated our Conquest Clash Champion Zycorax and before that aided with a little general farm work at Grol’dom to help out the locals and get a feel of how their everyday life can be like.

We’re extremely excited as well for the coming of Kosh’harg which is just around the corner!

Exciting times are coming as more adventures are brewing in the boiling pot!

The Blood Howl has just returned home from an intense campaign in the Twilight highlands, where they Fought alongside many other guilds like the Nightborne, Crimson Vanguard, Grimtusk Offensive, and Corpsegrin Irregulars.

Together they faced a Resurgent Twilight hammer cult. who came together in the wake of the Celestial event of the Void Comet.

The combined Horde forces made swift work of the Twilight Resurgent, only for the Void comet to make landfall revealing it to be a Void god. And with it an army of Ethereal and old god forces emerged.

These forces were made quick work with as well, leaving only the Void god left. and this was defeated by the united force of Arcane and Light.

Now we are taking it easy, after such a monumental event.

Blood Howl has recently investigated a problem about taint that had been done to the southfury river close to Orgrimmar. It proved to be fel-tainted but thanks to local shaman and druids, this has been solved.

Clues lead the Blood Howl to the next possible point of interest to be the Stagnant Oasis.

There Blood Howl discovered disturbing effegies made of centaur hearts and revealed it to be Satyr being behind the tainting. Thankfully Blood Howl could stop them before the oasis would have its waters tainted.

Now the Blood Howl has received a summons leading it to Highmountain where news of demons may be abound.
Its time to take action and find out more!

The Blood howl had left for Zandalar. here they had heard of shady activity, with Goblin smuggling people into the jungle. This reminded them of an old thought defeated enemy of the Blood howl. the Venture Co. Vultures. a group that buys up debt and forces people to pay it off to them.

They discover that the Vultures are working along side an independent division of the Dark fuse, who work R&D. They were mining Kaja’mite. to stabilise a experimental strain of Black blood. that they then used to create a device that played on the mind altering effects of Black blood. making any target extremely susceptible to commands.

one of blood howl’s newer members a goblin named Kelpi Snagjaw, dared to infiltrate the operation. and gather intel. Thanks to her the Blood howl was able to ambush the Darkfuse in one of their supply runs. crippling their defences.

to put insult to injury two of Blood howl’s Pandaren thought of a devious plan. and created treats laced with laxatives. which Kelpi then “gifted” to the Operation.

This made it so that the Blood howl could strike these goblin in full force. defeating what’s left of the operation and saving the indentured work force, through the power of Kaja’cola. The mind altering aspects of the Cola, snapped people out of the trans, that this device put them under, which the Dark fuse greedily used to subdue their workforce.

The Blood howl had returned to Dazar’alor to enjoy the troll city. planning to have themselves a proper Beach party at the end of next week.

A long few weeks it has been! The guild has enjoyed a long stay in Zandalar and a brief visit to Thaldraszus. The Blood Howl has now returned to Orgrimmar.

A long few weeks it has been for the Blood Howl.

After outing the Darkfuse in the jungles of Zandalar, some much needed rest and relaxation was earned. An excursion to the small isle of the coast of Zandalar provided a perfect spot for this. Games and activities were on offer, axe throwing and wrestling along with a surprise of waterguns and soft foam swords to splash and whack at each other with. With the Life Line Brigade offering some catering and joining in, both the Howl and the Brigade thoroughly enjoyed themselves on this island relaxation.

But the calm and the peace does not last. As a worrying request had reached the warband. Something was off, trolls were not returning from the jungle. What was found by the Howl was a small faction of blood trolls working together with Atal’ai. While they might have slain zandalari before the warband reached them, Blood for Blood was acted upon. It wasn’t the last of these concerning alliance as they had retreated back into the swamps of Nazmir.

There in the swamps the Blood Howl put an end to one foul blood ritual. But even then, the Atal’ai troll that was conducting the ritual escaped. For a few days more, the Howl remained in Nazmir awaiting to see if the blood trolls and Atal’ai would resurface. Nothing came for days until we readied to leave when a sin’dorei hastily emerged from a portal calling for aid. A small group of sin’dorei from the Reliquary had been attacked by blood trolls on their excavation. Hastily we arrived to save as many of them as we could and while we met the blood trolls with force, we could not save them all.

Days more passed as we awaited for the other excavation groups to be recalled, but one did not. Upon arriving at their site, we found ourselves already too late. Now was the time for vengeance, to fully stop them. Once more we did battle with the blood trolls, slaying their warriors, crawgs and blood mothers. But their priestess evaded us. Until we managed to corner her the next day. While she rose her slain kin, her skills nor the might of her blood mother’s protection were not enough to protect her this time. But, she denied us killing her. Taking her own life to fuel her ritual to resurrect a C’Thrax. This found abomination was might with force as the Howl rallied together to put an end to it for good. And finally it fell.

As we turned to take out leave, the Atal’ai witch doctor that evaded us reappeared for a moment. Siphoning what power was left from the death of the C’Thrax for himself before leaving swiftly. A battle for another day. A foe the Howl will need to hunt.

After a brief bit of respite in Orgrimmar, the Blood Howl answered the call of one of their own. Their former Chieftain, Cacklespine, had been summoned to Thaldraszus by herself? As strange as it may sound, it was no joke or ploy. But a timewalking variant of the Laughing Skull. Dubbed Cackletime, she and her dracthyr associated noticed that Cacklespine vanished from the timeways without a trace. To say this is out of much of the Blood Howl’s depth is an understatement, but we were still keen on preventing this from occuuring.

Needless to say, that did not go to plan in the slightest. It was Cacklespine herself that stole sand’s of time to vanish into the timeways. We did manage to recover, not through battle or force. But through words. Our former Chieftain returned with us. What awaits her now? We shall see.
