A Rag-Tag bunch of mercenaries who operate out of Booty Bay( Zandalar) in service to the Horde, jobs not excluding latrine washing, clean-up duty, a large helping of slaughter; The Gilded Blades can err on the side of morality, but their hearts remain true… for the most part.

Currently hiring able-bodied males and females of all (Horde) races to take up arms in the ongoing war!

The Blades have abandoned their strict neutrality to fight against the Alliance, and braved stormy seas (With bonus sickness to add to that) to reach the home of our new allies.

We live by a strict code. We are family, and we act as such. No one gets left behind, though a few may get a good punch and occasionally a light maiming (for which we dole out punishments.) Money is a priority, but so is keeping our members relatively healthy.
Room and board paid for by the generous Commander, so no one has to worry about their lonely nights under the stars anymore.

Who are the Blades?

We’re a Horde roleplaying guild that’s been around since 2015, operating mostly out of Booty Bay, though our adventures have taken us elsewhere over the years. Currently, you can find us in the Zocalo.

What is your battle system?

Our battle system, affectionately called the RPBR (Made by the wonderful Xenval) is a tried and trusted system that to our knowledge was the first properly implemented one on the server. We used the standard system for enemy health, but our characters have tricks up their sleeve! From passive perks you can make for your character, items to be bought form the lovely Grim’s shop (With the HUGE (not really huge) amount of gold we pay for each different contract) to enhance your skills, different specs so you can tank with added health, ready to face down any foe and take hits for their slightly squishier friends, be a stealthy rogue with even more added to your arsenal, or a helpful priest or an encouraging friend with achievable feats of strength - all thanks to our easy to use, customisable system.

How active are you?

We’re online every night, for casual RP the numbers can go between 6 - 12, and events have often shown around 10 - 15 people!

Do you do campaigns, or is it all one off contracts?

We’ve recently completed a 2 month long campaign that engrossed everyone and was immensely enjoyed due to how immersive it was! With no contact to the outside world for quite a period of time, the Blades endured many hardships, lost good friends, fathers, and Captains along the way. And we always have more in the works.

Come find us in the Zocalo in game whilst the Blades help the Horde and our new Zandalari allies before heading home to the Bay - send us a letter or whisper recruiting officers; Tealeaf, Kailin, Koshdrol, Moonsaei and Sindaes!

I joined this guild somewhat accidentally after taking something like a 5 year break from RPing. This month marks my 8th (I think) month with this bunch, and I’m more than pleased with the happy accident that brought me here!

The quality of roleplay has been something utterly unexpected, the best storytelling and character-building I’ve seen in my many many years on AD, and that’s saying a lot. The concept is so simple but so beautifully executed, with brilliant leadership IC and OOC (), a wonderful combat system and a more diverse character base than you’d ever expect of a mercenary guild. During the campaigns, the members produced some of the best writing I’ve ever seen for their off-screen stories.

Tl;dr: this guild has it all. Massive recommendation!
