Before the Forsaken, before the Scourge, the dark autumn nights were still a time for celebration - for sharing the harvests’ bounty, telling spooky stories, and lighting the wickerman in defiance of the gathering night. At a time when many in the Horde may feel… somewhat sour about celebrating the Banshee Queen’s liberation of Her People, the Thalassian Skyguard aim to provide an alternative, somewhat more bittersweet, festival.
We invite you to join us at 2000 RT on Tuesday 29th October, in the Skyguard’s new home of Mistbrook (represented in game by the ruins of Goldenmist Village), for the first (hopefully of many) Farstriders’ Ball. Celebrating the life of the former Ranger-General, rather than what she became after Death, and knowing that no matter how dark the shadows, the Eternal Sun will return with the dawn.
The evening will encompass contests of skill, strength and speed, as well as the customary Masquerade; attendees are encouraged to dress to fit the theme “Beasts of Azeroth”.
