It is in the orcs’ nature to dominate, to conquer.
When Orgrimmar fell to the Darkspear Rebellion, it was a dark day for all true orcish people. Those who did not get killed, surrendered. That was many years ago. But not all orcs gave up. Some never surrendered. Some still fight for the glory of Hellscream to this very day! What remains of the once mighty Kor’kron is reduced to a small, yet resilient warband, raiding and conquering in distant lands.
“We are the Orcish Horde, the True Horde. We die, bloody and thrashing on the field of battle, like true Orcs SHOULD!”
The Kor’kron Remnants is a guild mainly for RP-PVP (using emotes) against both Alliance and Horde. Events will not happen the way they traditionally do. Instead, the ‘events’ will mostly just be dynamic interactions with other guilds and players. In a way, a goal of the guild is to make the world a livelier place. A dangerous place.
The guild will work like just a group of friends having fun RPing in the world of Warcraft. Having fun is the most important thing. Since the guild is focused on fighting other players, we have basic rules of engagement in place. The guild is for orcs only.
If you have any questions or you are interested in joining, you can whisper Rilnok or Korok in-game. If neither of us are online, you can also send in-game mail.

While the concept itself is neat, this part confuses me. Why not set up shop somewhere like the Barrens or Durotar? Why Duskwood, on the doorstep of the Alliance?
Durotar and the Barrens are too close to Orgrimmar. If we were to set up there, then the Horde would easily destroy us. We’re just passing through Duskwood on our way past the Thandol Span to raid and pillage. We’ve already had a few fights in Duskwood, which is great.
Plus, I could see a band of leftover Kor’kron who have a grudge against both the Horde -and- the Alliance just pretend to be a regular orc band, raid the Alliance, and cause trouble for both sides by making it look like one side broke the armistice. The Twilight’s Hammer got good results doing that!

By being die-hard Garrosh loyalists, it would seem. Most didn’t return to fighting with the Horde, though. Those captured or surrendered were imprisoned, presumably new members swelled the ranks of the new Kor’kron that followed Garrosh’s defeat.
Carving their way to the subcontinent of Lordaeron, the Kor’kron entrenched themselves in the Eastern Plaguelands. The Kor’kron nearly met their deaths at the hands of Scarlet Crusaders.
Had a blast bumping into these guys the other day. Logged in for some chill RP and ended up in a brawl.
However, starting a fight in the middle of the town’s inn might have some consequences:
As night falls on Dawn’s Blossom, multiple posters appear on the walls of the city. It describes a band of orcs that started a fight. The Shado-Pan have been notified and a local offered a very generous bounty for them.
Quick edit: Feel free to ignore this if you want, no pressure to follow through with it.
The remnants have returned to their beloved homeland of Kalimdor. While they’re quite some distance away from Orgrimmar, they will most likely arrive and begin some recruitment in the coming days.
Yes, if you wish to join this guild, a good opportunity would be to join us in Orgrimmar. We’ll be there… soon.
