The Thalassian Party Committee (ft. Wandering Lamp Post) presents: Lunar Festival 2024!
The Lunar Festival is soon upon us, and with it comes the beginning of the social calendar. On this day, the Lunar Festival is brought to the shores of Quel’Thalas for all citizens of the Horde to enjoy in the warmth of the sun!
For one day only, on the 17th of February the Lunar Festival will be brought to Sunstrider Isle for an evening of festivities provided by members of the Thalassian Party Committee and the Wandering Lamp Post! Starting at 20:30 on Sunstrider Isle!

20:30: Welcome Speech - A little speech provided by our hosts before we kick off the festivities!

All evening: Special guest performance starring Derenly Winterdawn, bringing us the best of his music all the way from Dalaran!

All evening: The Market - A select number of vendors will be on hand for you to enjoy a relaxing evening on the Thalassian shores with beautiful views! Snacks and food, Toys and games, there’s even a Lucky Orb for one to grab in, are you feeling lucky?

21:00: Chuiwan - Based on the ancient Chinese game of the same name, all players are given a club and five enchanted balls. Your job is to try and get each ball as close to the furthest hole as possible!

22:00: Jianzi - The game of the shuttlecock! All players are provided with one shuttlecock, with the aim being to keep it in the air as long as possible without it hitting the ground! The issue? You may not use your hands! May the odds be ever in your favour!

23:00: Lantern Launch and Fireworks - We finish the evening with the launching of lanterns, taking with them our wishes for the year. And of course, we cannot possibly go without our beloved fireworks!
