It has been a busy and dangerous time, as of late, for the Sixty Thieves, proving that even the scum unwilling to fight for a faction has to suffer their own hardships and losses.

Dhai “Glory” Steelsong fought his final battle last night, as the Sixty Thieves ambushed him in payback for crimes both old and new committed against the family. Even while outnumbered one to four, the pandaren stood his ground, welcoming the challenge with intimidating resolve. The many tales that told of Glory’s valour in battle was proven twice-fold on the night of his demise, leaving the crooked thieves that fought him battered and struggling for their own survival, as the wounds inflicted by the pandaren threatened to drag them down into the grave alongside him.

It was an absolute thrill to witness and be a part of, and all the members send a big thanks to Dhai for creating such intense narratives over the course of the years of his membership in Sixty Thieves. May this one not be the last!

What follows for Sixty Thieves is uncertain. The family have suffered much, but it is not unlike the troubles they have faced before. And as always, there is a profit to be made.

Excitingly, we can also announced that we have new members in our officer core. Zria, also known as Twine, now takes on the responsibility of the Swindler, and Nayx, also known as Onyx, is doing the work of the Trickster. Additionally, we have two sole-OOC officers, Morduas and Nerithiala.

After things got heated in the region of Kalimdor, the thieves took a somewhat reluctant ship towards the shores of Quel’thalas, wary of the tension between the horde and the alliance, and aware of the dangers a horde ship has in waters they are unwanted in. Upon arrival in the blood elven lands, the thieves have not ceased their dirty attempts at emptying the wealth from the city’s inhabitants. Criminals once again lurk across the roads!

What may happen in the following weeks is yet to be seen, but citizens beware, and thieves be cautious, for an arcane golem on our tails would (almost) be as disastrous as a legion of grunts on a chase.

Assuming all chaos does not break lose in the ongoing plots and disrupt the thieves’ plans for profit, Sixty will be attending the market in Uldum to sell and trade their ill-gotten goods from people both in Kalimdor and Eastern Kingdoms.

May the wealthy be alert, and the poor informed of allies in the darkest corners.

Late last week, the Sixty Thieves had to say their goodbyes to another loyal, long-time friend, who met his end during a job gone wrong. The young goblin pickpocket, Mud (aka Kryzix), died as heroic a death as a criminal can die; fighting to keep his fellows out of harm’s way. With heavy hearts, the thieves buried their colleague in the unfamiliar soil, so far from home.

Following the funeral, the Sixty Thieves departed from the High Kingdom of Quel’thalas, their stock full of ill-gotten goods that they plan to get sold at the upcoming market in Mar’at, Uldum. Perhaps the change in scenery and the busy market days will help distract them from their recent loss, and some may even find solace in the heaps of coin that are likely to follow.

A big thank you to Kryzix for all the amazing memories we got to make during the one and a half years you thieved alongside us! It is always sad to see a great character go, but we look forwards to continuing to RP with you in the future on new characters!

After a trip to Silvermoon and Uldum Nights, the thieves have returned to the familiar prowling grounds of Orgrimmar.

Here they once more seek to fill their pockets with new wares to peddle and new coins to spend whilst at the same time finding themselves a few more fresh faces to bolster their three-to-five finger discount team.

A disguise a day keeps the grunts at bay.

The past couple of weeks, the Sixty Thieves have been kept rather occupied with a turf-war against a newly-arrived gang of peddlers. Even during its relatively short duration, the conflict has already taken some wild and unexpected turns on both sides, including beat-ups, kidnappings, blackmail, bribes, and no small amount of scheming. Though there has now been a few days of quiet, it’s safe to assume that the rivalry is far from settled, and on its way towards heavier casualties.

In addition, two pairs of thieves have recently had the time to wreak havoc of varying degree in Orgrimmar and Bilgewater Harbor, respectively. As a result, wanted posters depicting the culprits have been put up in the two cities, for both of the crimes. The following information is available to anyone visiting either of the two capitals, and you’re free to act on it IC, if you so desire! If there are any questions regarding the bounties, feel free to get in touch with one of our officers: Thalindor, Laerynna, Zria, Nayxx, Nerithiala, or Morduas.

An antiques shop in the Valley of Spirits of Orgrimmar has been closed following a recent break-in. Together with the grunts, the owner, Tashron Stelleris, has set a bounty on the pair of criminals responsible, and posters have been pinned on noticeboards all around Orgrimmar:

WANTED ALIVE FOR ASSAULT AND ROBBERY OF AN ANTIQUES SHOP!

MALE BLOOD ELF WITH RED SHORT HAIR, MISSING AN EAR.
A 2 GOLD REWARD IS PROMISED FOR DELIVERING THE CULPRIT TO THE GRUNTS OF THE THIRTEENTH LEGION!

On the 9th of August, a manor of one Rozack Shix located in Bilgewater Harbor’s upper-class neighbourhood burst in flames and burnt down to its foundations, resulting in two casualties. Fresh bounty posters can be found pinned on noticeboards all around Bilgewater Harbor:

WANTED DEAD OR ALIVE FOR MURDER, ARSON, AND ASSAULT OF THE LAW!

FEMALE FORSAKEN WITH LONG HAIR, MISSING EYES AND ROTTEN FACE. LAST SEEN IN SOOTY BROWN ROBES.

We have been known to be a bit elusive at times and due to certain current events we may not be the easiest bunch to track down, lest you know who and where to ask.

I assure you though, we are around in this and that corner. After all, coin doesn’t steal itself.

Earlier this evening, grunts of the Thirteenth Legion could have been seen walking around Orgrimmar, ripping down posters of a certain elven pair. Thus, for reasons unknown to the public, the bounties on the two elven burglars have been removed! The goblin and forsaken remain wanted, however, and their posters can still be found on walls and noticeboards all around Bilgewater Harbor.

Another week, another handful of dubious deeds! This week, it appears a handful of swindlers have been selling tickets to a fake party, much to the disappointment of those turning up on the eve of the Bombastic Barbecue Blowout Barge. More than a couple of excited ticketholders had to leave in anger or disappointment.

As for the ticketsellers… they appear nowhere to be seen. An unfortunate coincidence, no doubt!

What will come as a result of this? Nobody knows!

It’s been nearly a month since the thieves left the Barrens, taking up shelter in Booty Bay to escape the anger of those they had wronged. It would have seemed their decision was ill-made, as even the Cape of Stranglethorn had been unable to shield them from the consequences of their actions.

They fled to Uldum and proceeded to enjoy the hospitality of the Dunedwellers, savouring peace in the sun as the war reached its peak back home. With things slowly settling in Orgrimmar, the thieves once more prepare to head home in search of new pockets to empty.

You’ll be getting more tricks than treats from us this Hallows End, with Sixty Thieves now back in the city of Orgrimmar, in which I am sure they are unwelcomed.

Happy Hallows End!

I’ve never had a bad experience in RP with the Sixty Thieves. Stellar people both OOC and IC.

May be biased as a past member on Defias Brotherhood but I encourage criminal rpers to join their ranks.

To steal or not to steal, that is the question.

Yes, the answer is yes.

She stood still, unlike the wind in her hair. She was unmoving, but not unmoved, and her heart still thudded hard in her chest. The dust around her feet was dry, save for the tiny patches of dark, scattered as thoughts, a barren rain.

Veil over her eyes, veil over her mouth, she stared at the two graves, mute as her mind. Hollow and Catcher . Family she had never known as well as she’d wanted to. Their time with her had been too short, as time always was. Like a riddle of life, or of bronze dragonflight.
