An ettin that threatened our new chicken farm was taken down in the woods of Silverpine last night, with the aid of a Rooster bait which was in fact a polymorphed sir Florian.
The ettin was absolutely overkilled by a certain Simetra Shadowshot, but thankfully we managed to get the skulls and some bones to put on display.
The Order has travelled to QuelāThalas for the weekend. Meeting up with our allies in the Ashen Bulwark in a two-day gathering. Drinks, officer meetings andā¦ WAR GAMES ahead
Ashen Commander Deāvontae hosted a great two days of mingling and war games. It was finally great to see how realistic the OOC battlegrounds with capture the flag are even IC.
GO TEAM YELLOW!
Thanks to our allies in the Bulwark for the weekend Now back to Zombie Businessā¦
We have done the first round of repairs on our ship, the North Tide Tempest! She looks less of a ghost ship now with a pink wheel with glitter on it. The Order is slowly preparing the vessel to rule the seas of Azeroth!
Soon, we will get back to the killing business again. A campaign in June and some cross-guild stuff is in the works for the most grimdark undead guild on ADā¦
Aaaaand weāre back. To the killing business I mean. Things have been quiet in Silverpine for the last few weeks, but alas, good things never seem to lastā¦
The Order was tasked by the High Command to investigate the farmlands near Lordamere Lake, since the farmers had not reported on their stocks in a while.
Turns out the farmstead had been raided by a group of Gilnean riders called the Rainguard. We fought three of their outriders, killed two and questioned one (before killing him too). Sweet, sweet justice.
We might now have beef with these outriders, who knowsā¦
The Forlorn Order ventured into the plagued woods of the Eastweald, to Terrordale, to search for a āSpeaker of Thornsā who has made an oopsie and awakened a higher being called the Old Growth. We were met by a nasty Drust creature who insulted Florianās mother, but the tree lad was bested by a flying chart thrown by the mighty Zalthan Ironjaw.
The Thornspeaker was found and he is now aiding us to defeat the Old Growth in the coming days, in a grove in Hinterlands. The portal must be destroyed before the wild god gathers any more strength to bring more Drust into the North on its efforts to eradicate the undead from there.
The newest patch has been a great, positive surprise. The restoration that the guild has been focusing on since its first day is being reflected in the game. I was really happy to see the return of the Desolace Council but most of all showing that Forsaken are all very distinct and with vastly different views, yet one people. The story looks very promising and while I do not know exactly what our DMs and officers have yet prepared for us, Iām sure we will explore new areas pretty soon.
While opinions IC on Calia wary, her words āHonor the past, but embrace the future.ā resonate with many of our guild members. Not all our members come from Lordaeron, not all of them are even human yet we stand united as one people seeking to build home and spread Forsaken influence.
āNo more excuses. No more Banshee Queen. The Forsaken have many different points of view, and we should be led by a council, not a single ruler.ā
We had few spots open for Darkfallen characters to welcome them among our bunch, however said spots were filled almost instantly. Still, if anyone seeks some Forsaken focused RP donāt hesitate to reach out or find us in Sepulcher (if we are not campaigning).
I am so happy in your stead! Going to admit, this should really open the slow progressive door to the Forsaken and their former lives to more openly reconnect.
Glory days up on you Forlorn Order <3 Perhaps until we meet ingame!
Tonight, the Order travelled to Vengeance Landing for a guild campaignā¦
Two different parties among the remnants of the Hand of Vengeance have each called upon the Order for aid. The Scourge is amassing in the Fjord, while the Brotherhood of Cold Winds, a monk sub group within the Hand, is on strike due to disagreements with the Handās leadership. The two parties have had long-term tensions throughout the aftermath of the Fourth War, followed by a certain Executor branding the Brotherhood as heretics due to their worship of the August Celestials.
The Order managed to convince the Monk leader, Bernard Hextall aka āPrincess Pandariaā to scout Nifflevar with them. Maybe this will show some example to the rest of the monks on strike. But where is the Executor? And why is she planning to Blight the entire Fjord in order to gain victory over the Scourge, at the expense of her own peopleā¦
Our campaign in Northrend is nearly doneā¦ or is it?
The Order has managed to convince Executor Graceford to negotiate with the Monks, but the war effort against the Scourge has occupied all parties. Last night we struck into the catacombs beneath Utgarde Keep, eliminating the Necromancer who had held Nifflevar in his grasp. Some sus stuff was also found in the Executorās belongings, thanks to our own Brett for doing some sniffing around.
But are -all- of the Brotherhoodās leaders available for this meeting of negotiations that both parties have agreed to?
So, tonight I was blighted and then stabbed multiple times in the gut with void corrupted daggers and nearly died, but guess what? Sixtus Arthas Rotwild is a cockroach and it takes more than a few love bites like that to kill him. A tip for any future campaign bosses: Aim for the head.
Our campaign in Northrend comes to a close with the corruption in the Howling Fjord garrison thoroughly rooted out. Or so we hope. Soon we travel back to Lordaeron and Silverpine. The Forlorn Order has yet to make a trip to Tirisfal after 9.2.5 landed, so that is on the cards for next week. See you there maybe!
