We’ve entered the High Home once again and tomorrow we have a training/sparring night with the Skyguard :eyes:

After a couple of days in Silvermoon spent in the good company of our brothers and sisters in arms of the Thalassian Skyguard, we return to Silverpine and Lordaeron where we have some outstanding business waiting for us.

On a more OOC note, the last month has seen a great influx of new members. So to allow everyone some time to settle in and get to know everyone, we have closed recruitment for the time being. We have taken down the names of anyone who has been in contact about recruitment recently and aim to get back to them when we have settled into Dragonflight.

Last night the Order concluded the first part of the Rainguard storyline by finally assaulting their set up base in Agamand Mills. The hostage, a farmer turned out to be a nobleman named David Oldfield, was released with the Order’s quick wits and true aim. Colt Oldfield, the leader of the Rainguard, was shot by Viktor Cronwells, whose aim has gotten better and better lately.

Dave and Colt had unfinished business, but due to the Order’s rescue mission, they never got to it. The Rainguard is rumoured to await for reinforcements from the south when spring comes, but until then the Order will keep an eye on their lands as winter pushes into Lordaeron.

Tomorrow we’ll head to Dalaran!

Last night we had an honorary mission to take on.

A veteran of the Deathguard, Sgt. Graham Wallace, had been slain near the Greymane wall. The Deathguard brought the sergeant’s coffin to the Sepulcher on a hearse and asked us to march him to Sorrow Hill and bury him next to his wife, Amy.

The Order wanted to honour their fallen brother. Thus we took the Sgt. Wallace to Sorrow Hill’s wintery and icy grounds, where we met a caretaker spirit, Goldwin. He had a history with Sgt. Wallace, both born and raised in Andorhal, sharing a childhood of great friendship. To bury the Sergeant without disturbing him or the other spirits of the frozen graveyard, Goldwin demanded the Order to go get the Lightbringer’s blessing for it.

Mia and Felstad took on the duty. A touching yet short funeral service was held for Sgt. Wallace as he reunited with his wife at last.

Next week, as Dragonflight finally hits us, the Order will go on a week’s break from organized events. Hype for the Dragon Isles!

We are currently focused on the new expansion, enjoying Dragonriding and trying to find every single duck on the Islands. Currently we are on a small ooc break till the end of this week, so everyone can explore new content first. After that we are back in action with more events and RP. There is no rest for the wicked!

Congratulations to Konrad for becoming a new Councillor and helping out the officer team manage the guild. We are constantly growing and finding a new guide for Bloods of the guild was in due order. With that, we got a few smaller changes to one of our specialisation branches, the info will be updated soon.

With the incoming Winter Veil we are going to have a party alongside Ashen Bulwark soon and new stories unfolding too. I would love to share more details but I don’t yet know what our evil DMs and officers are plotting against us this time!

A merry demise :eye::lips::eye:

We’re back, baby!

The Forlorn Order held a ceremony for the new members to get their surcoats to officially become part of the guild. Some older members were also promoted, as we stood beneath the moon over Darrowshire in Eastern Plaguelands.

Congrats to Lyrieth, Mino, Simetra and Marsh on their inductions into the Order and Ilsalie and Flynn on their promotions to the rank of Ardent!

We are currently spending some days in Everlook, celebrating Winter Veil with good friends and allies before we return to Lordaeron where we will do some spooky Winter Veil themed over the holidays :ghost::christmas_tree:

Last day of 2022!

This year has been full of countless memories with the zombies, both old and new members. Many great campaigns were attended, many new people joined the Order and first and foremost we’ve had a blast. We’d like to thank all of our members and the allies of our guild for making 2022 a great year. Looking forward to what 2023 brings to us, we’ve already got things planned… :eyes:

Happy new year from the zombies!

2023 is here and the Forlorn Order is back in full swing! After a month spent mostly OOC in the Dragon Isles shouting about soup, we are currently gearing up for an IC expedition later this month. Not to the Dragon Isles, but to Northrend. While there, the Order will check in on the Forsaken stationed or making their home there while also tracking down an old enemy who got away. We got a score to settle and we’re not coming home until that is taken care of.

The Order has arrived in Northrend for the first guild campaign of 2023! We’ll hold a couple of storylines throughout the continent in the coming weeks, chasing old enemies and reclaiming Forsaken supply routes.

Our old foes in the Destitute Sisters of St. Mereldar are on the run in Northrend and up to no good, but our hunt for them has been raptured by the differences and a spreading divide within the Order  Can’t have anything nice in Northrend.

Lok’tar Ogar! For the Horde!

I recommend anyone searching for forsaken/undead RP to look no further and get in touch with these folks! Friendly and awesome is simply how I shall describe them.

Rock on Forlorn Order!

We’re hot on the Prophetess’ trail! Having advanced further north to Grizzly Hills, we came across a burnt Caravan with a scorched, chained down victim and some zealous notes left behind. The Conquest Hold scouts have gone missing after guiding a suspicious Forsaken flock into the woods to the ruins of Thor Modan…

The Order is onto you, kin-burners :eyes:

A chase that took us from the Howling Fjord, through the Grizzly Hills and Dragonblight and finally into the Stormpeaks for a final showdown with an old enemy, has come to an end. The Order is currently recuperating in K3 and will be spending another week in Northrend and then head back home to Silverpine.

The Order is back in Lordaeron after an eventful 30 or so days in Northrend that ended with the intrepid zombies double crossing their new tentative allies and legging it out of the Borean Tundra with a powerful artifact in their possession. This week we’re for most parts recuperating having a much deserved rest before we get back in the heavy event schedule.

In OOC news, the Order’s raid team had their first crack at Vault of the Incarnates last Sunday and managed to down the first 3 bosses. Thank you to Simetra and Kondemn for planning and leading the charge!

We’ve been having a wild old time in Northrend indeed! It was an… Interesting way for Harren to get acquainted with these people, and he has swiftly grown to care for them more than he ever thought he was still capable of.

On to the next adventure, let’s just not go back to that Temple for a while. Ya know. For reasons.

Look, an executive decision was made and I can assure you with 35% confidence that it won’t return to bite our backsides.

I do have a good deal on some horses if needed to depart with a little currency?
