[H-RP] The Packstriders

For a long time, have the Horde suffered from a fair deal of in-fighting. Be it to disagreements of an unruly warchief, or mixed opinions about the possible truce between the Alliance and the Horde.
Xelrin have long pondered what she could do to fix this issue. This problem which seemed to be the downfall of many. And the ultimate response is; she can’t do anything about it. Fights will happen. But what if she could lessen the chance of in-fighting? She was known to be a troll of a soft nature, wanting to see things from everymon’s perspective. And yet, she can be stern when need be. Or when she’s had enough of being ‘nice’.
So instead, she’s decided to take on the mantle of a leader. A leader of a group which honors her great loa; Gonk. The Lord of the Hunt, Master of Shapes… He sees strength in the pack, and this is no different when it comes to Xelrin looking at the Horde. She’s seen times where the Horde worked as one, laughing and fighting -together-. So not only will her group fight for her loa, but for the Horde!
An Elder from the Burning Blade Clan, Xolhakash, performed the ceremony of ascension for Xelrin within the Valley of Trials. Where all heroes start their long journey. Renaming her Xel’jin…
Jin, of the Packstriders!

IC Information:
The noticeboards in Orgrimmar, Razor Hill and Sen’jin Village would soon receive posters detailing a new warpack in town! Led by Xel’jin, but formerly known as Xelrin.
The poster keeps detailing how this individual seeks to strengthen the bonds of the Horde through the lessons of Gonk; Master of Shapes and Lord of the Hunt. Many times have internal struggles lead to the demise of many. Xel’jin believes the people can be better than that, and work as one. Cuz as Gonk says; there’s strength in the Pack!
It continues to detail that you can find the leader of the Packstriders in Orgrimmar, Valley of Honor.

A separate poster would also be set up; explaining how there was a ceremony of ascension held in the Valley of Trials by a Burning Blade Elder. Who have ascended the burden of Leadership upon Xelrin, a veteran of the Horde, thus renaming her Xel’jin!

OOC Information:
With that out of the way, let’s get the usual things set up.
RULES!
1. I think we all can agree that ERP, metagaming, poweremoting, lolling, etc should not be encouraged. Whilst metagaming, poweremoting and so on can be excused; I’m afraid that ERP can lead you to direct removal from the guild, should you be caught.
2. Don’t bring our guild tag to shame. Consider your actions.
3. Respect each other. Really, it ain’t that hard.
4. Whilst I do enjoy myself some conflict RP; I expect that there will be an ending that both parties agree to as well. Should you start any form of conflict RP.
5. And last but not least; Have fun!

This is my first time actually trying to lead a proper guild; so please have patience with me. The Packstriders is, as stated, a warpack which serves both Gonk and the Horde. In-fighting have been a huge problem for the Horde, which is why I thought it to be interesting to try and make events which would teach people how teamwork… works. How there’s “strength in the pack”. Naturally, arguments and such are not a thing that can be ultimately avoided. But I thought it was a nice though, and wanted to give it a shot anyway. NOW! Onto other matters!
The Packstriders main focus will be on the eradication of the Old God’s minions and hopefully the Old God himself. And the restoration of Azeroth, of course! Which is why the guild’s approach upon the Alliance will be neutral for now. Unless they commit further atrocities to the Horde, in which the pack won’t shy away from a good hunt! However, the pack do believe that the truce is necessary so that we have two large armies fighting against this large threat that suddenly escaped it’s prison. If the peace will last after that? We’ll see!

Questions!
Q: Is it trolls only, seeing as the Pack serves a loa?
A: Nah. All Horde races are welcome! Just like it states in the Tale of the Loa: Gonk; Be it hoof or paw or hand, we roam de sea and sky and land!
Q: RP-PVP?
A: I personally do very much enjoy RP-PVP events/campaigns! But according to the guild; the Pack would need a solid reason to fight the Alliance. Like, have they commited further atrocities?
Q: How do I contact you?
A: My in-game name is Xelrin (Horde, obviously). But if I’m not around, contact either Bloodblaze (Officer) or Inavre (Officer) through either /whisper or mailbox!

Hierarchy:

Jin

The Jin is a title for whoever’s in charge of the Packstriders. They will preferably have to be a troll, as the warpack will be occasionally taking a trip in honor of a loa to gain their blessing. The Jin (tribal leader) will have to be the one making decisions, whilst taking advice from their council. Should the current Jin not be approved of, one could take up a couple of trials to prove their worth as a better jin than the current one.

The Council

The Council will consist of a total of four people, or five; depending on how large the pack becomes. A Warlord, Huntmaster, Arcanital and High Priest/Priestess. The Warlord leads the Bladeguards, the Huntmaster leads the Watchers, the Arcanital leads the Augurs and the High Priest/Priestess leads the Clerics. All of the Council will keep the Jin up to date on how the members of the Pack is doing, whilst also being great advisors to the Jin. We are currently in need of an Arcanital and High Priest/Priestess!

Champion

The Champion is for those who’ve proven themselves over and over again to the Packstriders. Becoming a well-trusted veteran of the Pack! And who knows? Perhaps even an advisor to their respective council member.

Bladeguard

The Bladeguards are the ones who have proven themselves capable of fighting on the frontlines with brute strength! Willing to protect their leaders and allies with their strength and knowledge of close combat.

Watcher

The Watchers are the ones who have proven themselves capable of collecting intel which would otherwise be quite dangerous to obtain. Count them as scouts! They consist mainly of rogues and ranged hunters, who knows how stealth around in any environment.

Augur

The Augurs are those who have proven to know a thing or two about arcane, void, shadow, light, y’know- all the voodoo. They are the spellcasters who will unleash a magnificent amount of damage without even standing close to their enemy. Mages and hexxers could be considered Augurs!

Cleric

The Clerics are those who have proven to be able of mending, or performing medical surgery on a wounded ally. They are the ones making sure the Pack is alive and well.

Hatchling

The Hatchlings are those completely brand new to the Packstriders! Those, who haven’t proven their worth or skill to the leaders as of yet. They will be put through trials and events to be tested, and see just where they would fit in the pack. If they ain’t worth it but still wishes to keep going? Then who are we to deny them their chance. But ultimately, it’s up to the council and the jin when the person is worthy enough to gain a proper rank in the Pack.

We hope to see you soon! For the Horde! For Azeroth!

Rumours have gone around within and without of Orgrimmar, detailing about the newly ascended Xel’jin. According to the news, her soul have been split in half thanks to an artifact of the void, nothing but a week or two ago. She’s back to her functioning self again, but still requires a fair deal of recovery. During her absence, the packstriders have been at their lowest. But no wonder that they’ll be back in business and kicking again soon! Stay tuned!
