I play Kor’zo Ta’shul, as devious as he is cautious, Kor’zo is a fallen crime boss, once at the epicenter of a smuggling operation spanning from Orgrimmar to Dustwallow and across to Booty Bay. Following mutual ruination with his prime competitor after years of bloody attrition, Kor’zo has sworn to carve a path through the rotten underbelly of Kalimdor to reclaim his place at the pinnacle of the continent’s underworld by any means necessary.
And who is a kingpin without his merry band of smugglers, brigands and informants to profit from his schemes? That’s where you come in! If you are one of the many misfits of the Horde with a very particular set of skills that makes you a nightmare for…well anyone who isn’t your employer then please read on!
WHAT IS THE RED TALON SYNDICATE?
We are a criminal guild, striving to make our name one to strike fear and respect as it is muttered across the market places of Azeroth. If you are searching for a life of questionable antics, journeying with a family of like-minded outlaws on our path from ‘rags to riches’ then this could be the place for you.
As part of our guild, you will be fully immersed in the criminal world, dealing with all sorts of exciting and dubious activities. With plenty of room for progression through the ranks and individual character development, we hope you can join us as this is going to be one hell of an adventure.
OUR IDEALS
The focus and aim of our guild is to develop complex, believable and intriguing story arcs and characters for us players to really become immersed in. We don’t play the heroes of Azeroth, saving the realm from the latest threat, but rather the everyday thugs prowling her filthy streets. We hope you can really get lost in our community as we explore the evolution and growth of our characters and organisation over the months and years to come, taking the time to enjoy the little details of these journeys we will create and live out together.
As we RP, we prioritise professionalism, consistency and most importantly immersion for our members and those we interact with, be it grunts, shady contacts or suppliers. As a community, our goal is to evolve together with our stories and decisions intertwined to produce as authentic an experience for all involved as possible.
[OOC] WHAT TO EXPECT
As I have mentioned, our journey is all about immersing ourselves in the lives of these intriguing characters we have made. As a member you can hope to be a part of a ruthless syndicate, taking part in all manner of activities from smuggling and blackmail all the way to gang wars with our competitors through conflict RP with other player guilds wishing to challenge us. On top of interactions with other player factions, be it friendly or not, there will also be a range of DM’d events using NPCs, lead by confident and trusted members of the community.
To supplement this, we are developing a stat system for our members to use so you can really reflect your character’s backstory and skills in ability checks and combat in a similar style to that of D&D. This will be easy enough for everyone to get involved with but still with plenty of flexibility to showcase your character’s talents.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- Professionalism
- Consistency
- Honesty (Money and other items are managed using an honesty system)
- Sensible power level (Just be realistic and use common sense - speak to an officer if unsure)
- Detailed backstory for your character
- Accepting character death/injury is preferred (This will only occur as a result of your character’s actions to create a hugely meaningful/emotional plot moment, rather than randomly being shot by a OOC player)
- Active in-game (Once every 2 weeks without giving a reason)
- Active on Discord
- New and veteran RP’ers welcome
