What is The Sholazar Sanctum?
The Sholazar Sanctum is a new guild that’s focus is CASUAL RP, hoping to make contact with fellow RP GUILDS and INDEPENDENT RPERS within the various HUBS and out in the WORLD.
The origins of The Sholazar Sanctum lie with its Elder, Draz’uul Silvertusk. Once a mercenary of the Froststeel Company, Draz’uul Silvertusk vowed to never fight for coin again after the particularly brutal conflict of the second Ashenvale Offensive.
Instead, he travelled north to the cold Island of Northrend and there sought solitude in the hot and moist biome of the Sholazar Basin. But travel there was hard and took its tole on the Druid. Seeking shelter with the Oracles, a society of strange Murlock-like creatures who inhabited the basin; Draz’uul began the long process of healing and reacquainted himself with his Loa. The basin provided a perfect location to temper his warriors heart and through what felt like some magical means born of the earth itself, or perhaps even the closeness of the ancient Titan technologies and their own magics, Draz’uuls body began to heal. Followed by his mind.
It has been a long time since Draz’uul has left the shores of Northrend, and even the basin itself. But rumblings in Azeroth have stirred the Loa and he has been instructed that it is time for him to return. Not only that, but to seek others who may be in need of fellowship and healing to better tackle what is surely to come. Together!
What does The Sholazar Sanctum hope to offer?
I hope to offer a friendly and helpful community that champions openness and kindness amongst veterans and new players looking to take their first steps in the World of Warcraft and RP in general.
I am personally a full time professional and father, so it’s also my hope to provide a space for folk who can’t always be online but still wish to engage in RP that feels meaningful for their characters and above all else, fun to engage in.
It is my hope to eventually plan one shot activities for RP engagement within the guild, with member communication and contribution sought at all times in order to see what works for all. As well as hopefully taking part in some Server-wide Campaigns.
As well as RP activity, I hope to run Guild Instancing and take part in PuGs with members whenever possible and at folks leisure. PvE, PvP + Questing!
Ultimately, The Sholazar Sanctum is a place to relax in and enjoy the game among friendly guildmates.

What are we looking for in a member?
The Sholazar Sanctum is open to all CLASSES and RACES within the HORDE. With the potential for expansion in the ALLIANCE perhaps at a later date.
In The Sholazar Sanctum we are looking for people who are just happy to be involved and have fun together. We’re a group dedicated to keeping things laidback and relaxed OOCly (RL is stressful enough!) and when RPing, sticking true to the concept and character of the Sanctum!
A place of healing, betterment and communal strength!
We are looking for players who want to be involved and develop their characters when they can. With or without rising through the ranks!
Real life is important, we are all aware of that. But when playing it can be nice to escape, if only for a little bit.

This guild is still very fresh and although the concept is there, it’s an ideal start for someone returning to the game after a long time or finding their feet in RP!
