Guild status: Active and recruiting
Recruiting Officers: Iona, Delabellora, Silvermourn, Tahadras and Zéike.
Welcome to The Sunreavers
The Sunreavers is an assemblage of Blood Elves that previously represented the Horde in the city of Dalaran. For years we have aimed to defend the wellbeing of our kin, we are masters of illusion and the protectors of enchantment; in the name of Archmage Aethas Sunreaver and our regent Lord we represent the glory of Quel’thalas and it’s magical influence, safeguarding the future of arcane mastery.
We revise, record and shield the magic of Azeroth, we guide our sect of: Lorekeepers, Guardians, Hawkriders and Apprentices while nurturing new blood from the regions of Quel’thalas to continue to reach astonishing performances in feats of magic.
Guild TL;DR
We are a guild primarily focussed on magic and mages and the adventures that revolve around the life of a spell caster in a Sunreaver sect.

1. Guild Information
The Sunreavers was created on October 2nd 2015 and is always striving to become more interactive with the Argent Dawn role-play community!
As the guild houses continuous waves of Apprentices, we are always looking for experienced mages and the likes to pass on their expertise to our fledglings! In addition, if you are interested in role-play in any form or crafting an event in collaboration with the guild, then please don’t hesitate to get in contact; we are very approachable!
As a guild, we pride ourselves on our approach to magic, personal signature spells and casting flair that is sympathetic to the magus and their personality. Generally we would advise to have a little read through our website to see what we expect from our players!
Most of all, have fun!
All information about our hierarchy, outfitters, events and campaigns can be found on our website or on our Discord, including our extensive guild library and all the relevant magic compendiums.

3. Recruitment Status and Hierarchy
We are currently: active & recruiting Sunreaver, Blood Elves only. Although the guild attracts a Mage focused player base we accept all ranged classes.
We are currently recruiting into the ranks listed below.
Apprentice
Classes
Mage, Priest, Warlock.
Apprentices are expected to attend Sunreaver tuition, raise their own Dragonhawk and establish their affinity to the arcane with a personal spell style. All Apprentices will be working towards their ascension trials from the moment they join; these feats of strength are infamously dangerous and will push you to your absolute limit.
These tests will examine your capability with magic and as a member of the order. The Sunreaver trials typically take you away from home and last the span of a few weeks, facing perilous missions and quests. Please report to the nearest facility immediately if you are experiencing any slight inconveniences, such as loss of limbs.
We must also remind you if you are devoured by a magical creature we hold no legal liability for your untimely demise.

Lorekeeper
Classes
Mage, Priest, Warlock.
The Sunreaver Lorekeepers, are the cerebral force of the order. Lorekeepers know exactly how to outsmart the enemy, they have an intellectual and tactical mind, ready to calculate any problem or conundrum. Lorekeepers are guided on intuition and a vast athenaeum of arcane knowledge, it is most likely that they have chosen to study more than one magical school and have an ever extending hunger for wisdom.
These members of the sect are highly intelligent, creative and at times have bizarre and unconventional techniques to accomplish a task. Lorekeepers are the ones you turn to in the most dire situations, they are always prepared with a higher level of thinking whether it be for a quick escape or to conjure a diabolically fantastic and strategic plan of attack!
Apprentices, Guardians and Hawkriders will report to Lorekeepers.
OOC Notes for Lorekeepers
❖ This rank is suitable for individuals who are interested in an in-character officer position. This rank is expected to nurture the apprentices and guardians, furthermore stimulating the role-play that revolves around them. You will be helping design and progress characters not only for yourself but others around you.
❖ Lorekeepers are expected to undergo various in-character responsibilities that include political endeavours, calls to battle, social and cultural events and ambassadorial duties. They are expected to, on the face of things, take a logical and neutral stance on decision making that is progressive for the Sunreavers as a whole.
❖ This rank is good for you if you enjoy forming events, stimulating role-play, attending public meets and being an ambassador for the guild, solidifying and maintaining alliances and appreciating cross guild interaction. You will also be expected to have Apprentices under your guidance.
4. FAQ’s
Q: Do you have a uniform?
A: Yes! Our officer core have designed a variety of Sunreaver themed sets to co-ordinate with the Sunreaver NPC’s in-game to fulfil your fashion needs. (Lets make Aethas proud!) Our website features a full outfitters where you can see images of all the wardrobe sets and a neatly compiled guide that explains exactly how to obtain your tabard and uniform quickly.
Q: Can I choose my own weapon?
A: Yes! Focus weapons are something we love to prattle on about! Our Sunreaver Apprentices will usually acquire their focus weapon through role-play in the primary stages of their career. This means you can choose the look of your weapon for your transmog and if you desire we can explore how you obtain it through story!
Sunreaver’s will, if willing, participate in a story line or quest line that revolves around how and where they acquired their weapon. For example: a family heirloom, a weapon gifted from a mentor, a weapon acquired through battle loot, something sympathetically forged so its bespoke to the magus’ casting etc.
Q: Do I have to join as an Apprentice or can I join on a pre-established character?
We accept characters into all of our ranks. We are also very supportive of our Apprentices, watching the characters flourish and grow over time is something very special for us; to watch the progression of their career. The Apprentice and mentor bond is key to a lot of our role-play components. We however also appreciate and understand that people don’t always necessarily want to play and build from the ground up.
Prior to joining role-play an officer will have an out of character discussion with you. We are aware that some people have experienced sorcerers and illustrious histories therefore we don’t expect you to revert to a fledgling for no reason.
As a guild we will find a position that is appropriate for you and your character! However if you are joining as fresh meat, we would strongly advise thinking about your personality, linage and background prior to these discussions!
Q: What is the application process and how do I apply?
A: If you are interested in joining our ranks you may approach us in-character or out of character. If you are approaching on an in-character basis, anyone in the order above the level of an Apprentice will be able to take you to a Lorekeeper to begin your induction.
Primarily we will keep you in the OOC rank until we have had a full discussion about your characters variables and understand the basic principles of what is expected of you during your career as a Sunreaver.
Q: Can my character pursue goals that are not progressive or in line with Sunreaver protocol?
A: Yes! There are however internal rules that should be followed, particularly in the realm of magic and how it works. But we very much encourage people to be as free with their characters as they wish, so hidden agendas and a coup de grace in the planning is fine as long as it is executed in character and within reason.
Characters that are defying rules of the Sunreavers behind closed doors or have their own storylines and motives are both encouraged and accepted on an out of character level.
Consequences will be investigated and dealt with in-character.
