Great festival start last night. Though, seems the Brawl got a good start. A lot of participation.
As someone who simply cannot RP as a Orc, this festival is being awesome in this case . Iâm learning new things day by day and I hope I got some facts with me when it ends. Love it so far <3
Glad to hear so many of you enjoyed the first day! We have two new events up on the schedule, both of them on Wednesday courtesy of Drazhul and Frakhorn.
So hyped for the archery contest tonight! Lets see if Zee can do it again!
Some screenshots from the first two days, taken by Kyrazha, Bashul and Sootskin! Big thanks to those who have been in attendance so far!

Beautiful stuff! Thanks for posting, Koz.
Looks like a super great event, upset I canât make it (like every year) but I hope itâs enjoyable for all!
A great surprise to claim victory of the expert bracket of the archery contest. Canât wait to experience the rest of the festivities and see whats on offer at the market tonight
Thereâs fortune telling tonight but the host misinterpreted his own stars and wonât be around till between 22:15 and 22:30 realm-time.
Following the Conclusion of the Clefthoof Hunt, Frakhorn brought the heart of the great beast with him towards the nearest tree, close to the where the beast perished, there he dug a deep hole at the base of the tree and planted the heart amongst its roots before burying it with a brief prayer, this was no common orc Tradition, but it was a rite of his kin and a duty of his to see it through.
Following the rite, he went back to guard the Clefthoof remains until locals of Garadar arrived to collect the prize and bring the entirety of the slain beast back to the Festival and its ongoing Feast.
As always the grand market was a lot of fun! Thanks for giving me a chance to RP out this side of my character I rarely get to touch otherwise. Sometimes I wonder if maybe Cacklespine has a little Flowerpicker Clan blood in her somewhere though.
Huge thanks to everyone who hosted events last night when I could not be there! From what Iâve heard it all went absolutely stellar.
Itâs a shame I missed the market, but Iâm sure I can find SOMETHING to buy at one point or another!
Another day, another bunch of activities!
As Iâm hosting Zagrelâs Course tonight, Iâd like to use this as an opportunity to convey some of the info pertaining to this game for you to dig your teeth into might you be so inclined!
Zagrel's Course (21:00 - 22:00)
Garadâs Frostwolf clan was not alone in frostfire ridge, deep in the mountains, past even the toughest Thunderlord encampment and ancient clan homes another clan made its home. Zagrel and the Whiteclaw clan were brothers and sisters to the Frostwolf, their knowledge of the elements and its challenges unwavering.
Some of the elder Orcs say that one day long ago, during one of the Koshâharg festivals in Nagrand, a younger Zagrel challenged Garad to a race of strength, agility and cunning, where they both needed to overcome obstacles of Water, Fire, Wind and Earth to get to the other side first. A Thunderlord Orc, who was tracking a Talbuk for his Omâriggor, witnessed this race take place, and told the tale to his clan after he returned victorious.
If there is any truth to this story, nobody knows⌠But that doesnât stop us from honouring the memory of two great Chieftains!Do you have what it takes to complete Zagrelâs Course?
Signing up and gathering times
About one hour or so before starting, Ordok will be calling for sign ups in /yell.
There are 10 spots available to keep me sane and make it nice and tight knit, first come first serve!
Fifteen minutes before starting, Ordok will start gathering folks by the Western gate of Garadar, where a raid group will be formed. The story behind the course and rules will be explained both IC and OOC at 21:00 (if not earlier might folks be there on time) as to not linger too long into the drinking contest which starts at 22:00.
How the course works
Each contestant will be able to choose one of three blessed stones: Cunning, Agility and Strength. This will enhance their abilities on the course through elemental magic provided by the Shaman of Garadar. Every obstacle will have one of these three themes, which will be noted at the start of every raid warning.
Everyone will be given their mounts: wolves bred by Garadarâs famed wolfriders. If you have your own wolf you may use it instead. From there, the race commences!
This is a survival of the fittest race in essence. The dice will decide your fate in many ways, though it is up to you how to roll with the numbers that are given to you. Perfect to flex your RP muscles! Every obstacle will be crossed by all (remaining) contestants at once, including their mounts!
You have 2 chances to cross each obstacle. 3 chances if it links up with your chosen blessing, itâll be mentioned at the start of each obstacle.
Roll your attempt(s) first, then emote the outcome! Be fair to yourself and others, and most of all have fun with the many ways in which you can succeed or fail! If you fail, make for the Eastern Gate of Garadar to welcome the winners-⌠Or nobody at all, as this course gets progressively harder- especially in the later stage.
This will continue until the last obstacle, after which the final sprint starts to the East Gate. Thisâll be straight rolls to see who enters in first, second and third place!
In the end a short award ceremony will take place by the Eastern Gate, after which youâre free to go! (Of course you always were, who am I to judge) Everyone will also receive a token of the Whiteclaw: An iron coin with a wolfâs paw impressed upon it. Proof that youâve faced the course of Zagrel!
TL;DR - Obtain a blessed stone (Cunning/Agility/Strength), gather a wolf, start the course, everyone goes over the obstacles at the same time, 2 rolls per obstacle- 3 if you have the linked blessing for said obstacle, at the end the last remaining ones (if any) will race to the finish with straight rolls to decide the outcome, award ceremony at east gate (Youâll also go there if you are defeated)
Time to steal Ordokâs idea
Another day, another bunch of activties!
Today we start off with an Eating Contest! I hope you all are hungry becasue food shall be had! And itâs free!
After people have done eating and are rolling everywhere, itâs time to work off that weight in the Omâriggor! The orcish tradition where an orc goes from child to big burly grown up!
I hope to see you all today! ^^
Challenge of the Wyvern, another fan favourite, returns tonight. Sign ups will open as soon as Iâve wolfed down my dinner, teams of 3-5 characters are encouraged to seek me out. Come test your wit, cunning, and riddle-solving capabilities!
The final day dawns soon, who knows how koshâharg will be after pre-patch! Maybe weâll do a pilgrimage to THE MAW!
Complete and utter heresy, No!
The Tirisfallen had great fun on the Festival over the week. It is great initative to be hosted Waiting for the closing speech today before we will move home.
And today itâs the last day of Koshâharg! One week has already past by.
The last events of the celebrations starts with the closing cerememony! Offerings will be made, so if you want to make an offering you are free to do so!
After the ceremony there will a Tournament of the Blades! You are now able to punch the blood out of people, and do it in a tournament! Will you be the champion this time?
Itâs always sad to see another Koshâharg end!
Good luck to those in competing in the tournament tonight, I shall be just spectating and giving up my back to back title. Who will be the new Champion?
