Wowee what a Kosh’harg it’s been, and what a beautiful closing ceremony to wrap up what might very well be the last big social event before prepatch hits us in the face like a damp paper towel with some spice. It’s been an amazing week, driven by the best organizing team I could’ve wished for - all made possible by you! Yes, you! You who expressed your excitement for the Kosh’harg, who attended every evening you possibly could (within reason, of course!), you who eagerly followed the events, competitions and rituals alike, and you who - above all - had an amazing time. The Kosh’harg would not be possible without your beautiful face attending it, that’s for sure.
For me personally, this might well be one of my last Kosh’hargs that I host for a while. The future calls and I must answer, and with that comes a potential RP hiatus for lord knows how long, but I’m not too fussed to be honest - I will do my darndest to be there at future Kosh’hargs even if it’s just watching from the sidelines! Who knows, maybe I’ll even have time to help host the one next spring. Dramatic speech aside, this has been an amazing week. Thank you to all the event hosts, fellow Officers, and members of the Horde (and in some cases Alliance) community who offered and voiced their support; you’ve all been the biggest help I could ever ask for.
Summarily, I hope you all really DID have a blast at the Kosh’harg, and that you got to see the things you wanted to see, speak to the people you wanted to speak to, and that you got to participate in the things you wanted to participate in. It keeps getting better, and I’m sure next Kosh’harg will be an improvement yet again! If you’re keen to help make sure of that fact, drop a few lines of feedback. We read it all!

So I took part in the Kosh’harg Festival on every single day except Saturday’s events, so I have a very definitive impression built by those hours of roleplay. And that is the fact that I have not roleplayed with such constant activity, passion and fun for a whole week in ages! Every event/contest that I took part of was creative, and rulewise it was distinct enough to not be boring or feel repetitive. Plus, the social roleplay also resulted in expanding some of the in-character goals and ambitions of my half-ogre character which felt truly authentic.
With that, I can say with utmost confidence that I will recommend people going to the future Kosh’hargs, because that is what Worggrim -and- I will, because this has been some of the best RP I’ve had in a long, long time. Thanks to everybody that organized this in whatever capacity, small or large role, and thanks to those I got to roleplay with directly.
