On noticeboards across Horde and troll settlements alike, a poster advertising Rush’so Jan’alai has been put up. For two nights, Flamedancer Ki and Flameweaver Zeshira invite their troll kin and Horde allies to Revantusk Village to share in the celebration of their loa. Rush’so Jan’alai is celebrated during the summer solstice when the Everburning Dragonhawk’s fire burns its brightest, strongest and longest.
Ki and Zeshira will lead the festivities with focus on three main events - brawls, presenting offerings and finally the dance of the Everburning.
On the first day, Zeshira will be accepting sign-ups from trolls and Horde members alike that wish to honour the fiery nature of their loa. Before the brawls begin, participants will be encouraged to paint themselves in the colours of the mighty dragonhawk loa to respect her and prove their worth. There will be no tournament, each entrant will get one (or two) organised brawls. But, any that wish to continue on and fight more opponents are more than welcome to. Each entrant, no matter whether they win or lose, will receive a small trinket of Jan’alai so that her fire and spirit may be carried with them on their travels.
The second night will begin with Ki and Zeshira allowing participants to join them at an unlit bonfire. Trolls and Horde alike are encouraged to place their offerings among the bonfire so that they may be burned. Do you wish for the Everburning’s protection, for her fire to purge you of weakness or simply for her fiery passion to be with you? Tonight is your chance to receive her blessing.
Finally, Rush’so Jan’alai will conclude with the hosts honouring their loa in the best way possible - dance. Come, join them as they dance and weave flames to end the festivities!

Hello! Myself and my fellow troll RPer Ki will be hosting a two day event to celebrate midsummer by honouring the loa of dragonhawks and fire - Jan’alai. Any members of the Horde are welcome to join along with trolls of any tribe. Naturally followers of Hakkar and G’huun along with blood trolls won’t be welcome. All we ask is that you mostly behave yourselves during the festivities!
On 21st June I’ll be accepting sign-ups for the brawls from 19:30 ST to 20:00 ST, this is open for both trolls and Horde to join. This will not be a tournament, but one or two rounds of brawls between those that have signed up. The number of rounds will be dependant on how many sign ups I receive on the night.
We are still looking for vendors for the market on the 22nd. Preferably we’re looking for troll vendors. If you are interested please reach to myself (Zeshirá) or Voodoofire in game.
