Whispers of Ambition is a tight-knit group of people playing together since Throne of Thunder. Players have been added along the years and the smaller 10 man core from Pandaria has grown bigger!

We raid Wednesday, Sunday and Monday
Invites start at 19:45 and the raid starts at 20:00 (server time).
Break around 21:30 (10 min always planned) - might take small brakes in between to discuss tactic changes.
Raid ends at 23:00 (server time) the latest, we have some cranky workaholics and won’t extend past the set time.
What is required of you
You need to come prepared for the raid. This means you need to have at least some kind of general idea about the boss we’re facing for that night. You need to come prepared with your own BEST food and potions (we provide flasks and Vantus runes).
You need to be up to date with your character, both the neck, the cloak, running weekly +15 mythic dungeon, and all related content.
You need to know your class and all your class specs. If a fight requires more burst than sustained DPS and your other spec does more burst then you are required to play that spec. We want the min-max on traits/specs and stats. You need to know what you’re doing. We will notice very quickly if you don’t know the basics (traits/essences/corruptions) for specific st/cleave scenarios.
Don’t play for logs, the raid isn’t about you and your performance, it’s about you as a part of the team and your performance of what needs to be done to kill a boss. If an encounter requires to kill adds and you’re derping on the boss because it gives you more DPS for the log over actually properly doing tactics for the boss then this is not the guild for you. We’re really good at reading logs and verifying this literally takes a couple of seconds.
No alts required but appreciated
If you want to play one at a high level and we could use your alt on some Mythic bosses, you’re free to join on it only if your alt is on par with your main and is needed for a boss fight and you don’t mind playing on it.
Guild goal and what can you expect from us
Our goal is Cutting Edge, with emphasis on enjoying our time spent.
Wiping is not enjoyable, but neither is having a foul and hostile environment - it’s a social MMORPG, teamwork is key. Don’t be toxic, mean, or irrational.
Most of our members have been playing with each other for quite some time now and you can most likely always find someone on discord to chat with.
For most of it, we’re a mature guild. When it comes to raiding we want to have fun but the focus needs to be sustained too (it’s just what mythic requires). We greatly emphasize talking about specific stuff. Say if you’re doing something incorrectly we want to talk to you, give you detailed constructive criticism. You’re always free to disagree if you got a valid argument of course. Generally, we want to help each other. We know that a specific death could be a wrong movement, cocked by other players, etc. The goal is that we talk to each other and work it out.
There is always something happening in the guild. Whether it’s M+, Mythic Alt raids, Heroic raids, or even rated battlegrounds.
