Hi there everyone!
Preface that by mature I don’t mean ERP or anything! Nothing against it, it’s just not the point of the message. Ok, on with the show.
Where do I start… well, I started playing WoW during the original beta and have tried every expansion since. However, I haven’t been in a guild really since MoP, where I did some server first raiding. That’s not me anymore though. I’m looking for a guild that has matured and mellowed to match my pace these days. I’ve mostly been playing FFXIV since that came out more socially, but a longtime FC fell apart recently, and it feels as if it may be a good time to try the new expansion with some new friends.
As per the title, my most important criterion is that the guild be inclusive, with a focus on being a friendly place for marginalised people. As someone in mostly LGBT+ communities, I’ve gotten used to people being honest and open.
I’ve been quite hesitant to make this post as I remember that 10+ years ago the game was a very different place. There was a significantly toxic community, similarly to most MMOs, and I was someone who was a part of that. As I’ve grown older though, (I’ve just hit 30) I’d like to think that I’m past that part of my life, and I hope I can find people who are in that place too.
Content-wise, I’m looking to primarily be social and play some more casual content. Dipping my toes into M+ sounds fun, but I’m not going to go hard with it. I’m basically free to start fresh on any server, either horde or alliance- anywhere that would fit my vibe! I’m thinking about playing a healer - my top pick I believe would be mistweaver monk thematically but I’ll have to see at max when I pick a server!
Thanks very much for reading. I hope there’s a home out there somewhere. I’d love to try this expansion out without being a solo-MMO player again!
All the best to you.
