I write this post today in hope of finally rebuilding a guild that holds many years of memories, spanning across multiple expansions. Although currently seeking help from a GM to revive the guild, we may just end up starting fresh but under a new name.
Our past
We were active from early Legion until mid SL but had to close the guild due to lack of recruitment on our former server (SL content played a major part in this). During this time we happily curved our way through multiple tiers all while maintaining an open and inclusive atmosphere. We specifically recruited a mix of experienced and newer players in order to build raid teams as we believed that all players should have the opportunity and platform to try end game. We were successful in this aspect, outside of raids we gathered members for keys aplenty, fun events such as mount achievements and various other fun content.
Since we split, we eventually headed in separate directions whether server change or even stepping away from the game entirely. Some of us tried various guilds but always found disappointment when those guilds never delivered what they promised, friendly atmosphere, no cliques and so on. We even looked at possibly getting something on Stormscale but the server seemed to be slow on recruitment and some who contacted us even questioned why that server. We dug deeper and focused on the full populations, everything pointed towards Silvermoon.
Aims
Myself, the RL and a couple others kept in touch and always spoke of reviving the old home. That is where we are right this second…and we need you. The guild charter is up for signatures but below is a list of aims and expectations before you sign.
- Raids will be Monday and Thursday 20:00-22:15 server
- You pick what you want to play, we will make it work
- This is a process that needs time and patience, expect a rough couple of weeks while we recruit
- We will gain AotC and may consider adding early Mythic bosses if we are close to requirements
- We will maintain a toxic free atmosphere, drama will be dealt with
- Use your experience to help others, be a team player
Keystone master will be a main focus for anyone interested and various extras being done on other nights which will be open to all members. What will make us different is getting back the friendly and calm atmosphere we previously had, where all are welcome and given an opportunity to experience harder content. Don’t worry if you have never tried HC raids or higher keys, we will happily help you get to the standard required.
Several of us have moved toons across or started new characters on Silvermoon in order to create the guild. This may be a slow process to get to the point of actually raiding as a guild, being the end of this tier almost. Our main objective is 10.1 but we’ll do what we can in the meantime. Patience is required so please understand this fact, you have time to start a new toon and casually level/gear it.There is so much more to chat about but the basics are listed. We understand that there are many guilds here doing similar aims with different times so we feel that we perhaps have something to offer.
