Hackers and cheaters

the isle of dorn is a barren place this morning the cheating hackers have herbed and mined so much over night and early morning that the island is a wastland bereft of life and resources why do we still pay a sub for blizzards lack of policing this game , there is only one answer to this problem and that is catch them, ban them for life and close their account also ban the unique number of their pc thus forcing them to buy a new pc get a new wow account and level new char’s if they wish to play wow again . i pay my sub a full year in advance but if you as a company dont sort this problem my sub which i have payed for many years will cease very soon . this is not a threat this is a promise.

Blizzard does take action.

Cheaters and botters already get permanently banned in waves. The problem is that they persistently return ofcourse as it is a profitable illegal business with people continuing to take their black market services.

Blizzard doesn’t do hardware ID bans. Though another game company, Riot Games do it since they use elevated anti-cheat options; HWID can still be spoofed or cleaned and it may take a bit longer to return usually the more “professional” botting companies have a very large stock of replaceable components.

A side effect of banning HWID equipment is that if they’re resold the next innocent person is banned with no prior knowledge, or that they pretend to be innocent.

As a sidenote, such anti-cheat would require kernel access and elevated TPM which is not present on all but more modern PC’s, as Blizzard’s Warden is at K2 while Vanguard is in K0.

Blizzard is not moved by threats, as is evident from another guy who got suspended for being a little prick AFKing in BG’s:

Whether if you do stay subbed or not, they will continue anti-cheat operations. You’re welcome to submit proper constructive feedback if you want through the ingame suggestion panel.
