Had some "good?" ideas regarding DH changes

Hey! I like to think of fun changes they could make to the class and potentially covenants! Here are some ideas! I’ll admit some are a bit over the top but always fun to go out of the books and go a bit crazy! :slight_smile:

  • Necrolord Covenant: Call forth and defeat a demon from the Theater of Pain. Once defeated every soul fragment for the next 40 seconds counts as a demon soul and reduces the cooldown of metamorphisis by 3 seconds.

My reasoning for this is to have a bit more variety and a general better use for the necrolord ability.

It would more so warrant a 2 min cd and actually give you a use with the 20% damage boost for a solid minute. Pair this with DA for a good CDR on Meta and its quite a good covenant choice. Though I do admit I may have made it a little overpowered.

  • New added mastery effect: Increasing healing done by soul fragments by “x” amount.

(I’m bad at scaling and such so I’m leaving the amount of extra healing up to speculation. This would once again pair up nicely with DA and it would not make mastery as unwanted as it currently is.

  • Momentum/Unbound chaos changes. Using vengeful retreat makes your next fel rush deal 300% extra damage and upon hitting atleast 5 enemies with fel rush summon an allied demon hunter to slam into your target and cast death sweep. If you hit less than 5 enemies the allied demon hunter will instead slash your initial target with 3 annihilations.

I think this would give momentum a more general “cool” feel in both AoE and ST instead of being a general “spam VR and FR” rotation.
