Nope, they wont keep you in combat as long as you get a small distance away from them.

If you had the mask of dark imagination On, there is a chance you had the mob that comes when you are below 50% sanity chasing you.

Also another monk here in the forums told me WW’s have a bug that keep you in combat a few seconds later after you should have exit combat. Had to do something with legion’s WW things and its not fixed yet lol

You’re talking about mage quarters I assume, the little purple slow moving patrol adds can get stuck in combat with you, I’m guessing you had one you didn’t kill. I’ve done a lot of visions (15 cloak on 6 chars, farming 5masks on 3) and I’ve never been stuck in combat in a way that didn’t turn out to be an add spawn (below 50% sanity) or mage quarter patrols that needed to be killed.

Have done on average 15-18 visions every single week since the patch came out, and i have never had this happen when i didn’t screw something up (forgetting i pulled a mob or forget that i spawned a mob at 50%) so i think you just messed up mate, deal with it.

It’s because of this sort of thing that I believe every class should have some sort of aggro removing ability, the stuck in combat glitch has been around far too long now and if Blizzard can’t fix it then give us a way to remove aggro.

They don’t. Unless you have a dot on them. The moment you get away from them, aggro disappears and you’re out of combat.

But a character like me who’s a fire mage will probably have a little bit of ignite damage on the tumor, resulting in me being in combat longer than most other classes.

They usually leave a fleshbeast behind and when they self buff they take all day to get to you, that is likely the issue. If it was a tentacle then it would instantly teleport onto you.
