Jaz was very young as she lost her family in the GNOMEREGAN - INCIDENT™
So a friend of her family, a dwarfen blacksmith, took care of her. He was very proud of his profession, so he wanted Jaz to follow him into his steps, but Jaz was too weak, to handle his heavy tools. The only thing she loved, was the spark and heat of the forge, and the loud sound when her foster-father worked out fine swords and axes for the troops in Redridge.
Jaz has a brave heart, a swift reaction and a agile mind. She was very nifty. But she failed to get the hammer up so hard she even tried. Someday she was asked, what she want to become some day. She immediately yelled out: WARRIOR!
