Yesterday I completed the Xal’atath lore walking story on my character Lucir-Darkspear and immediately after handing in the final quest and getting the lore walking achievement, I noticed that I had suddenly lost 11 of my titles (as below). Obviously some of these date back years, I have the achievements for them which shows I should have them, but they are gone. I reported this in a ticket as all this time and effort that it took to get these originally seems to have been undone through a bug, and was told this is a known issue, but that I should report it on the forums so the Blizzard team is aware of these reports and can reproduce them.

I also lost a bunch of titles, with several messages in chat as well:
“X title has been removed.” This was after completing the Lich King Lorewalking questline. Seems like they are all potentially bugged.
It seems to only happen to the character that completes the quest though, as the titles are still there on another character.
Just finished the Lich King storyline on this new low level character and lost 34 titles! I know he didnt earn them yet but please can you fix this Blizzard?! Did one of the other storylines with a level 80 a few weeks back and didnt loose any title…
This is still happening. I also just lost a bunch of titles after completing the Xal’atath lorewalking storyline. Got messages like: your title ‘the Kingslayer’ has been removed. I does seem to only happen to the character you did the lorewalking on. When I log in on my other characters, the titles are still there. Almost seems as if some titles are flagged incorrectly due to phasing issues. Hope they find a fix for this soon, cause it’s a really annoying bug…

The exact same thing happened to me after I completed the first quest for the panda Cho, “sitting on a bench in Stormwind.” I got something with Xala… as a title after the chapter/timewalk 1, and I lost the rest. I submitted a ticket @ Mi., 1. Okt., 16:36 and received the following response:

Wie ich lesen konnte hast du einige Titel verloren, als du einen Erfolg erhalten hast, so etwas kann wirklich frustrierend sein. Ich habe mir deinen Fall ganz genau angeschaut und konnte feststellen, dass es hier aktuell kein bekanntes Problem gibt. Es hört sich aber so an als würde hier etwas nicht so funktionieren wie es sollte. Deshalb ist es um so wichtiger für uns und alle anderen Spieler, dass diese Fehler gemeldet werden und unsere Entwickler das Problem genauestens unter die Lupe nehmen und schnellstmöglich eine Lösung finden können. Wir Game Master können den Fehler den du entdeckt hast nicht an unsere Entwickler weiter tragen, weshalb es um so wichtiger ist, dass du unter dem folgenden Link einen Fehlerbericht erstellst. Bitte beachte, dass du keine Persönliche Antwort auf den Fehlerbericht bekommst, du kannst dir aber sicher sein, dass diese an die Zuständigen Teams zur Prüfung weitergeleitet werden. Leider haben wir keine Möglichkeit dir die Titel wieder gutzuschreiben.
Solltest du noch bei etwas anderem Hilfe brauchen, erstelle gerne ein neues Ticket.

This means there are no known problems, but something is still wrong, and I should report this to a developer so they can fix it as soon as possible.
