So I just got home after a long day of fishing and wanted to do some fishing in WoW.
The clock was nearing midnight but I just had to do some fishing… A fisherman knows
To my surprise the fishing derby quest was gone at midnight. Leaving me quite dissapointed.
Why is the quest only available during saturday? A real fisherman spends his night fishing, cus he knows thats when the fish bites more. And its less crowdy and more peaceful during the night.
So I vote for have the quest available during the night too, and maybe sunday too, cus thats when the real fishing happens usually. On a sunday. Sunday fishing.
Definitely an annoyance I’ve experienced too often in TWW as well, but such is life. On weekends with little planned, I find it’s less of an issue, than ones where I’m out and about.
You can do it at 0:00 Midnight into Saturday. That said, yeah it should be an all weekend event tbh.
Tip: If you’re already 300+ in Fishing spend a few minutes just fishing up in the open waters right beside the NPC… get a chunk of the fish checked off your list. I typically get 7-9 unique fishing within 5 minutes before I start looking for pools.
But you can’t pick it up any time of the week and complete it any time of the week either. You can only pick it on Saturday’s and must deliver it the same day.
