I just wanted to say, as many others, Hallowfall is by far one of the most beautiful zones in the game in 20 years. That is something really hard to achieve.
Would love for it to have a full city with all the options in the future but even as it is my hearthstone is set on Mereldar on some toons. Keep it for next expansions.
Honestly the thing I look forward to the most each expansion is zones. When I first started during BFA I fell in love with the zone of Zuldazar, and then Ardenweald, then Azure Span, now Hallowfall!
Just wished Inky Black potions worked there⦠the place blocks its usage snd removes its effect, probably due to the light/shadow cycle. I use the potion to make highlighted objects a lot easier to spot, especially for disturbed dirt.
It temporarily works for awhile upon flying into the zone before it gets removed, the lights off the Keyflame towers look gorgeous.
The great thing about Hallowfall is the first presentation and entrance. You enter from a āsmallā door from a stone-y environment into a unique environment based on stalactites and stalagmites that opens up in all directions, with a bright golden light in the sky and soothing ambient music to accompany you.
In general I like it when there are such āgrand entranceā events. I consider Ardenweald in Shadowlands to also have such a good entrance while flying from Oribos. Itās also why I consider Maldraxxus to have had the possibly absolute best first introduction of any zone in the game ever, with the everlasting arena event and amazing background music of that event with the drums and steel noises.
I would love for it to be expanded upon and see new zones created at the other end of the sea so the crystal is kinda in the middle of a bunch of zones. I know this prob wonāt be possible with the way the skybox is created
Go to Zangarmash and use a ground mount, south part where the caves with mushrooms are, there is a path that connects it to Terrokar. Follow it and you will go through a small mountain pass and once you turn your camera slightly you will see Shatrah hiding behind them. This was the first time I saw it way back in TBC and I will never forget it.
The lush areas of Ringing Deep, from the river going through waterworks all the way to the south end, is pretty nice looking⦠especially with inky black potion where it brings to life all the fluorescent plants and fungi.
