Hey all, just wondering since the Level squish - what’s the minimum level needed now to obtain Headless?
The Headless Horseman has been scaled for a while now, so I’m guessing level 10 will be the level needed in the new system.
Hmm, if it is level 10, then couldn’t players just create a bunch of allied races and farm it every day?
They did that last year, so I don’t see why they wouldn’t this year =P

Just so I know - so, last year, you could just have a level 10 character, queue for the dungeon & the Epic loot could drop, specifically on a level 10 character? As I read it you had to be 98 or 110+ (one of those) for it to drop the Epic loot.
Level 20 was what allied race were before the squish, and yes, the mount dropped at that level, the gear did not though.
I saw a few level 20s get the mount this way.
[EDIT] Blizzard might have fixed that in the meanwhile, I got the mount early last year and didn’t bother running the dungeon more after that.
So my info might be outdated with you being 100% correct and me being 100% wrong.

The mounts have mostly had a higher level requirement. I’m not sure what it is for this year. Hopefully we wont have to wait too long to find out. In the past I think it was 110.
All levels can take part in the event so I think that is what Forumcow is confused about. Initially the first year the change came in they allowed all levels but many just rolled a full accounts worth of characters to try for the Pink Love Rocket, the following year it was changed xD.

Huh… So I was wrong. But I do remember a bunch of level 20s running the Horseman, guess they were doing it for nothing.
You needed to be 110 for epic bag to drop per day to get chance on mount so i suspect it will be level 45 now .

Why couldn’t this have happened for the Love Rocket 
I already have the HH mount.

I will probably have 49 attempts a day on the Love Rocket when that comes round 
My herald will be that disappointment forever but I daren’t level her.

Ugh, don’t remind me. That rocket feels like a myth at this point. And so does the Headless Horseman’s mount.

It’s still a quick exp dungeon. But yea. The headless horseman only drops for characters lvl 110 or above. So based on the current leveling, I’m guessing min level required is 45.

One good thing; it’s a lot faster to get to the required level now. That’s something.
At this point we don’t need luck. We need a miracle.
I recently did The Nighthold for the first time (besides having done LFR when it was current), to unlock the Balance of Power questline appearance for the Artifact weapon. Anyway… First ever Gul’dan normal kill; mount drops.
I’d call that a miracle. 
Its more rare than the mythic mount yet easier to farm as you can 3 goes per week .
never understand this close to autistic approach some players have spending hours and days and weeks for a slim chance of another mediocre looking mount to add to their 99999999 other mounts that they will never use and does exactly the same as the 9999999 other mounts.
