I just looked at all the things you can buy from the Hallow’s End event vendors and am wondering how many years you need to get all of them? From what I saw you need a 1000+ candys for the transmogs and toys alone, if you add the pets and maybe the Costume Sets it’s probably somewhere close to 2000 or even more…? I’m not sure how many treats all of the candy buckets reward combined, hence my question of how long it would take to actually get all of the Hallow’s End items?
I couldn’t find an answer to this when I was browsing the forums, would be happy if someone could clarify on this.
I’m not sure. But I’m guessing the quickest way to get them is by running multiple alts. I thought the same yesterday. I colelcted all the Khaz algar candy buckets and done a few headless horseman and only just broke 100
What happens with those event vendors is that those drops weren’t added all at once. It has been progresive. Almost every year Blizzard adds at least one new item so players who have everything continue flying around the world doing the event.
So if you want to answer how many years it took to other players to get everything…Well, in my case it was since 2007, because that is when I started playing. But I think the first year was able to get everything that was available and just all other things I obtained the year it was added or sometimes the next one.
But of course if you are a new player and want everything there is too much avaialble and not enought candies so your only choice is to do walk around the world with as many alts as possible
Yes. World-event currencies should be warbound…And be real currencies. I suppose they can’t make it like that because it dissapear at the end of the event, but what they should do in that case if to improve the system so world-event currencies are part of the currency tab and changes back to 0 at the end of the event.
Yes and no.
It would be nice sharing excess with your alts, but we have just seen that Blizzard will just nerf the gain for alts. So if they get warband bound odds are we’ll also be able to gain significantly fewer tricky treats (/ancestor coins/midsummer flowers/etc), and I don’t know about you, but getting 2 treats per candy bucket is already barely enough for me to bother with my alts, less is definitely not going to entice me into doing it.
