Would it help some if Hand of Gul'dan was changed to being able to be channeled while moving instead of being just a static cast?
Seems like demonology's woes stem from long casts and static movement.
What if we could simply channel up Hand of Gul'dan on the move? How long you channel for would determine the number of summoned imps. 3 shards and full 1.5sec channel (on the move) would give you the full Dmg and imps while an interrupted channel would still give some Dmg as well as at least one or 2 imps.
This way we could still follow a target avoiding LOS issues and interrupts would still provide us at least one imp to burn if needed.
What are your thoughts?
(Full disclosure, I’m extremely new to the class, but I figure I might as well share my thoughts anyway. Open it up to debate)
Are they one spell (plus number tweeking) away from sorting demo out?

It always used to be instant cast prior to Legion, I still find it awkward having to cast it.
It won't fix anything, it's a QOL change. it'll just allow an extra GCD for movement in dungeons and raids and allow you at least one more damaging ability in PVP to be instant cast.
31/10/2018 14:18Posted by AcceleroHand of Gul'dan being a cast is the best thing ever because it's such a nice name for the spell it being instant just makes it boring
In terms of gameplay and practicality, it's terrible. I really don't give a !@#$ about what a spell is called or how it looks, I just want it to do its job.

it's perfect though I care how it looks and what it's called :) play affli or smth I guess
Movement isn't bad when you have core procs.
Vile fiend should be instant imho... and all Felguard spells completely removed from talents, either baseline them or remove them and put in something better. If I recall correctly we used to have a minion talent that effected all of them, not just one... wtf happened to that concept, that was good.
Forcing specific pet to be out so we can use talents is just dumb.
And rework doom thanks.
Yer spot in sonny!
In curent game meta, casts on the move won’t solve problems, you still will be locked with interupts.
Absolutely imobile class should have a lot of insta-cast spells.
About vilefiend - this is good example how blizzard treats warlock. They poorly programed that spell what they could use code of grimoire: felguard. This may have solved the issues with vilefiend standing next to you in the middle of the fight.
This whole warlock situation is just a freaking nightmare. Not only warlock as class was vivisected, and a lot of good mechanics was rip off from us, but current design is a joke in the core gameplay desing aspects, class fantasy, and techical side of the class.
No one in dev team are actualy interested to see us -warlocks in compedetive good shape. All design decisions in legion and BFA is just bunch of ideas of people who doesn’t have a clue how warlocks should work, and slight tweaking od demo in BFA it no more then a dust in the face to please people who screamed that visuals of warlock sucks.
