Festivus is almost upon us (December 23rd). It is a holiday unlike any other. The story explained in this video:
We don’t need a fancy tree. A simple aluminium pole is all you need. Good strength to weight ratio. No tinsel, for that is distracting. Now to gather your guests for the festivities. Additionally, put your clock in a clear plastic bag and nail it to the wall.
The first part is the Airing of Grievances. You don’t like something or someone, let it out. Don’t hold back. You may have been disappointed this year, so air your grievances. This is what it’s there for.
After you had dinner, the Feats of Strength begin. The head of the household may challenge someone to participate in it. Traditionally, it’s a wrestling match where the head of the household must be pinned to the ground, or Festivus will not end!
