ishayo yes there is it is getting revamped for part two of the titan vs void trilogy. Also a northrend return for part 3 this is just so good
i dont like that we will probably still have this huge item level jump in an addon and lfr gear invalids my whole progress i did in a season.
no new specs, class combo, support, class itself.
otherwise the new talents look great i hope they mix up the specs a bit.
Im very excited for tww (or whatever we are calling it)
Its the first time in a while ive had genuine hope for the future of this game.
I have no idea how I feel on it. Some things look fun, other things no idea, the storyline seems quite vague, and the three expansions sounded more like three big patches of one expansion but for the price of three expansions. Yay?
It wonât affect me as I usually prefer to level once the first insanity of a million people parked on top of one quest npc has passed but I donât particularly like the idea of paying extra for early access generally speaking, I can imagine it may create difficult situations for people who usually level with friends.
Iâm not hyped. Iâm not outright negative. Iâm weirdly neutral with a dash of âguess weâll seeâ.
With Classic Iâm happy, Season of Discovery looks genuinely fun and while I wanted more changes for Cata Classic, I know Iâll have fun with the expansion.
With retail honestly I think the hype will wear off once people realise how little weâre getting here.
Particularly dreading Midnight due to it butchering my two favourite zones in the game as well as the lore and story of my favourite race. Seems theyâre gonna wipe cities off the map one by one going forward without actually ever bothering to fix the world with a true revamp.
I am happy, just wish we had a Tinker class and i would be over the moon.
But, this is kind of the expansion i wanted.
Even if theyâd only have their launch content and nothing more beyond that, weâre still talking 4 zones, 8 dungeons and a raid (not even talking about any additional systems and such). Thatâs a lot more than just a patch.
The stuff weâve seen so far, yes.
Unless they royally screw up class/spec balance Iâll probably continue playing.
of course there was zero talk of pvp its dead content always has been
blizz should just scrap the game and focus om movies instead because they dropped the ball and fumbling ever since cata
those cutscenes alone are expensive more likely cost more for 5 minutes of video then you make in your whole year of working
but even at its lowest point wow still makes enough to pay for the services and the staff plus a big fat bonus for all the unworthy executives âŠ
And yet many people consider Legion to be one of the best expansions (or even the best).
Story line yes - it looks good and I feel like they are really going to focus on it.
Classes - Also yes, generally they have good variety.
PVP - Not my thing but no, it has been neglected
General Format of the game - Nope, this needs the biggest overhaul for me. If we get 5/6 new zones, 8 dungeons and a raid with a mega dungeon and unlocked flight at some point based on rep I am going to scream.
What would you want then?
Of course, thatâs very true. And I highly doubt theyâll do just one raid. I did get the impression their intention is to have shorter expansions, and depending on what their plan is exactly all in all it could drive up the price by quite a bit while technically players get less for their money in that case. Especially with these kind of bonuses tied to the most expensive version I have some reservations about it all.
Itâs not about whether I can afford it or not, I personally just rather dislike the sensation of âmilking the playerbaseâ. With all the losses they have had, a generous approach to their players would be a better attitude imho.
Yeah, Metzen pretty much hinted at that.
And yes that would mean weâd have to buy expansions more often.
But on the flipside; content all the time⊠Yes please.
Iâd think faster content releases IS a good attitude towards their players.
And we live in a world where stuff costs money.
Something less formulaic, Wow is supposed to be a living world, not my weekly shopping list. Maybe more one boss raids like we used to get, vary raid sizes, put content in old zones. It doesnât need to be crazy but it is nice to be kept guessing.
It is also worth looking back at the amount of raw content we used to get in early expansions (appreciate replay-ability of those was not as good) . Zones used to be bigger, we got more dungeons and raids. The issue with shrinking expansions is that the game in general feels less epic than it used to.
#LoveIt #hype
I was simmering, getting sold on it. Then SoD swooped in and now I am all in, teasing Karazhan Crypts at the end?
Congratulations Blizzard, you got a renew. I like the direction of both Classic and Retail.
I have all these things down as âGoodâ.
Although, I suspect expansion 2 and 3 are part of your world revamp.
