Seems like more the same that we already have. Depending on how the hero talents work out I might be slightly excited but overall I’m pretty neutral so far.
Expecting nothing - so not overwhelmed with dreaming about what going next and never got disappointed by that
Idk what bad can be about that. Did you really enjoyed to grind reps for same fractions all the time again and again on alts? I’m not.
I really find that a misconception. WoW is not a living world.
Living worlds are the ones you find on sandbox mmo’s that are player driven in economy and expansion, usually through PvP.
WoW is an ever expanding world, but i don’t find it a living world. Don’t think it ever was. It doesn’t even have Housing.
Because actually making meaningful talent choice is overrated.
3 zones, 9 dungeons and no raid would be wholesome I bet
Other criticisms are valid, I gusss
I’m maybe unique and special™ but never used housing in any game, I’m basically a hobo in FFXIV despite already starting shadowbringers
I prefer to play one character.
So if you tell me that I can earn 2500 rep per week per character, let’s say, that for me means nothing. Like, fine. Sure, alt people do alt things.
But then you tell me that it’s shared? So now, I can use 4 characters to earn 2500 rep and they all get 10000 per week?
I think it likely that a lot of people are going to do this, and then Blizzard are going to look at the rate of progress and at some point conclude it’s too fast, and that means they’ll increase the requirements and then I’ll be in a situation where I feel forced into becoming an alt-o-holic myself in order to get the rewards I want. I dislike that a lot!
If they want to do account-wide reputations this is what it costs: lockouts. All of them. No shared rewards from weekly chests, no weekly reputation reward quest like the one we have in DF, no world quests with rep rewards (or infinitely spawning world quests with no downtime between them)
It’s kind of ugly.
this! WoW feels watered down.
No. Nothing to pay for. Nothing new and interesting. Same 4 zones, same talents, everything is the same. What’s new? What is worth paying for? DELVES? Is this the only thing that can be named as a feature of the NEW EXPANSION? What does it expand exactly? Everything is the same. New talents, that would be pre-determined by meta and will be used by everyone? No features, no really new content. Don’t wanna pay for dragonflight re-skin.
DF has huge zones actually.
Well, that’s up to them to make sure doesn’t happen. Through the events and story and such; it needs to feel epic. Can’t really say anything about that yet.
But he does have a point, feels like everything is same, just some improved qol for alts and outdoor stuff.
In reality everything is refurbished,i don’t know i really did expect something major(classic + got better stuff than retail)
You’re really working overtime today.
It all sounds awesome, like an entirely new company.
I’m not going to knee jerk about anything I’ve heard even the stuff I didn’t like the sound of until I experience what they’ve brought in, I know, I’m insane and like to make judgments based on evidence and experience instead of immediately pooping into my hand and throwing it at my screen in protest
Mildy negative.
Good:
- Warbands look cool and handy.
Bad:
- Just the same old; couple of new zones, new raids, dungeons. Been there, done that. Nothing really innovative or new that gets me excited. Not completely blaming Blizzard for that last part as playing a game for so long has a risk of eventually just bore you out.
- Hero talents. Wow new talents, how exciting.
- Same crap graphics and textures.
- Another dwarf race but 20% bigger.
- Scummy early access.
Sure, but what do you expect?
If they suddenly change these big ‘traditional’ systems there’s going to be an outcry from players. This is very much a ‘damned if you do, damned if you don’t’ scenario for Blizzard.
I expected more, this to me feels like a slightly bigger patch
I mean these new points aren’t actually choices. You get them all. It’s just a whole lot of passives and a couple of actives.
What I’m saying is that our characters already have too much going on, so the last thing we need is even more going on. It’s getting very, very overwhelming.
But they don’t care. Clearly.
Modern zones are too cluttered with bullsheit. The success of Classic proved that people want the wide and open areas of the 00s.
Revamp of the old world, housing, more grounded adventures like killing some heckin’ dragon in its lair, etc.
And pls more revealing clothes. I want play a cool looking warrior dude with revealing loin clothes or a beautiful amazon that is sexy and strong. Not modern prudish USA fantasy.
I am in
if I say so. I can’t ask for more. The account bound reputation and Transmogrification is huge. I really hope this will be the case for the Tol Barad teleporting tabard
