With hardcore on the way and PvP ranks and battlegrounds disabled, The only available tabards in hardcore will be:
1 Your guild tabard
2 Tabard of Scarlet Crusade (1% drop - 1 dungeon a day)
I think it will be nice to see some more tabards in the game somehow as some people might like their guilds but not the tabard.
Maybe the red and blue rank 1 PvP tabards (private and scout) could be a minor reward for reaching level 60.
The tabard of Argent Dawn could be available from vendors when you reach a certain reputation with them, such as revered or exalted (to make it even more hardcore).
It would be great to see the other tabards too somehow, or maybe even some more surprise tabards such as tabard of Mastery.
Tabards have no stats and will not affect how strong your character is or prevent deaths. However pointless they might be, we mostly all use them and it would be nice to see them in hardcore.
