Harlan Sweete loot is bugged

Hi,

I’m over 120 runs into Freehold, trying to farm Harlan Sweete.

The item I’m after is [Gold-Tasseled Epaulets] on Heroic. I’m farming him daily on all leather-wearing characters I have.

Nothing has ever dropped from Harlan besides [Bloody Tideturner] and [Harlan’s Loaded Dice]. Given there’s 4 items in total that can drop from him, and nothing other than these 2 have ever dropped (sometimes duplicates too, like 2x loaded dice), it means the other items either have an outrageously low drop chance, which wouldn’t make sense for fairly generic items like this, or they’re bugged… Or I’m missing something here.

I’ve tried every loot specialization that can drop it, didn’t make any difference.

Wowhead states that these items have a 4% drop chance, yes I know unofficial sources and all, but lets assume that’s the case. If that’s so then it’s hiiiiighly improbably that nothing other than these 2 items drop, nearly impossible.

I have evidence of putting in the time to farm, when I noticed something is wrong I started hoarding the items that ALWAYS drop, so I now have a bag full, I’ve been meaning to post a screenshot but I’m not sure it’s possible? No links etc.

Has anyone else had the same experience?
Could someone look into this? It’s likely not bad luck at this point
If it’s bugged, I feel it’s because it’s an azerite item, the only thing differentiating what I’m after vs what’s dropping.

Could be it. Have you by any chance been killing any other bosses that can drop such items?

Hi thank you for replying, with preformatted text I still can’t post a link, but anyhow it’s a big bag full of [Bloody Tideturner] and [Harlan’s Loaded Dice] so it’s not the most interesting thing in the world :D.

Actually I did get other lower-drop-chance drops from other bosses in Freehold, but those aren’t azerite gear. So it may be azerite gear that’s not dropping at all anymore :frowning:

I can confirm this is bugged, killed the boss many many times on my alts to get the Shark bone shoulder. The only things dropping for me on any difficulty are also the Tideturner and Dice.

Ok I got some folks together for a 5-man Freehold, and it appears that azerite gear will in fact drop with 5 man! This was the first time I saw azerite gear drop in Freehold SL… I feel there’s something going on that prevents a single person from getting it. We have yet to test it with less than 5 man.

I know the drop chance of azerite gear is 15% in a full party. Either that’s cut in 5 or if you don’t have 5 man it’s bugged out.
