Harnessing the power has a gamebreaking bug

So far its been 2 months and 6 tickets and I just cant get hold of a human being to help with this known issue and I dont know what else to do at this point.
The quest harnessing the power is completely bugged and has broken the game for me. It is a quest that requires you to put the first essance in your heart of azeroth a simple quest that takes around 1 minute in the heart forge. the item that is needed has dissapeared completely with no way to abandon and redo the quest.
so far I have read every forum post and wow technical suggestion about this issue those involve:
-removing the neck and reloading UI/logging out
-resetting my complete interface
-resetting the interface in the files
-opening tickets
-deleting all addons
-disabling all addons
-reclaim the item (it has been consumed but the essence isnt available)

Now the only time I have seen this issue resolved with the help of a GM, I understand they are busy but at this point I have paid for 2 months of membership and have been stuck on this for 50 something days so far. I am only on the forum as I have tried absolutely everything at this point. please someone somwhere help me. all tickets opened are copy and pasted responses about wowhead and the forums and that I cant be given tips on the quest however its a 30 second quest with no traveling.

If you opened up a ticket and stated you tried the above you should’ve been helped by a GM?

Do make sure to mention what you’ve done so far in the ticket body.

Ive submitted 1 bug report the rest that were opened are technical ingame difficulty tickets. this is a known bug as ive read literally every post about it but I have only seen one resolved post and that was by a GM so far i cant get hold of one just a copy and pasted reply and as I said in my post I understand that they are busy but this is 2 months at this point.

Thanks for the suggestion but I’ve just checked my tickets and I have already done that right now I feel more of a neusance than anything I think I might just cancel my subscription until the next expantion because theres nothing else I can do at this point. really appreciate the suggestions tho.

I’m having the same issue right now I really hope it doesn’t end up taking months to fix like yours did.
