Out of interest I checked my achievements.

Zara Caverns came out on 3 May and a month later I have capped Renown.

I did farm the WQs as they came up, did Researchers under fire once a week (in a group for biggest success), the little mini events shown as horns on the map, dig as many maps as the game gave me (didn’t buy them), and all the quests available in the zone.

Flying requires 15 not 20 so hopefully less time consuming.

Never trust Blizzard when they say it’s not necessary to have renown and it’s just for cosmetics and recipes, it’s a trap!!!

There are currently no players for the horns, and they keep resetting when trying to solo them. But still wondering how you did it in 1 month. That is quite fast! The digs and worldboss and rares for now also do not give reputation at all… So i am basically left for researchers in a group (which i didnt do till last week), the 5 heroics dungeon quest and some world quests. 1 renown a week is the target.

Eesh. Now I’m even less motivated. That’d be like 10 weeks for me since I’m at renown 5 currently iirc :frowning:

Most horn tasks you can solo. They are faster in groups ofc but most can be done alone.

I tried, but they reset. I am not fast enough.
It is like 3 pilars you need to destroy. You need to farm mobs for an item to get 20% off a pilar. When i am not even halfway on the 2nd pilar the 1st pillar i destroyed is back to 100%.

What exactly is resetting? The horns are all kinds of tasks.

For example hitting a wagon to make it go back to Loamm and killing attackers on the way. Another is putting out fires by a snail. Throwing incense into a pot.

If you managed to get like 15 renown in 1 month, that is almost 4 renown per week. That is 10k per week. I am not seeing the resources for that :thinking:

You also need to do DF loremaster for pathfinder as well, right?

I have no idea what rewards what, I just do everything until I cap renown or have everything collected/done.

After a long wait, Patch 10.2 will bring regular flying to the Dragon Isles with the completion of the Dragon Isles Pathfinder achievement.

The achievement is not fully implemented on the PTR, but has the following requirements currently:

Cleared all wq’s previous week with 50% buff and i got +1 on all factions. That’s about it.
How on earth is possible to get 3 per week

I was mainly thinking by the time you do loremaster you’ll get a nice chunk of renown for doing it.

I know the cavern story have niffen tokens of like 1k+ rep each.

You get to ~5 renown by doing the full campaign.

You can probably stretch that further with WQs. I was picking up the weekly rep quest, doing research under fire + 3 digs which normally took about a hour for 1 full renown per week. Its worth picking up the weekly rep quest in valdrakken as you complete that while doing it as well for a extra 500 in each one.
