Have they been lying to us about the loot tables?

Since the beginning of the expansion, the 4 Covenant Conduits for each class have only dropped from World Quests and Sire Denathrius. This meant that during Patch 9.1, the only way to upgrade your Covenant Conduits was through the conduit upgrade items from Korthia, since no one runs Castle Nathria anymore.

So it’s not just being unlucky to not be getting the covenant conduits that are shown in the journal on the loot table of the world bosses. They’ve actually been lying that they are on the world bosses?

That might just be an oversight of the writer of the article. According to the Wowhead sites for the world bosses, those drop the conduits aswell.

I still think having those conduits available from more sources is a good thing.

Let’s hope they add the same for those god awful legendaries that still only drop from castle nathria bosses.

I think that is more likely to be an issue with the way Wowhead has worded it’s article.

You could give them a heads up on their error - feedback@wowhead.com or use the feedback form on their site - https://www.wowhead.com/faq#contact. One of the drop down options should be relevant.

Fairly sure the encounter journal is right tho, I got the necrolord one on Muckformed iirc.
