I got 6 today without tryharding (just opening random chests I flew by), while I had days of tryhard farming while getting 0-1… Or am I just SO lucky today? xD

apparently this item has been deleted completely from the chests in Zereth Mortis? yesterday I got around 21-22 Progenitor essentias, today I got ZERO in 3+ hours, after opening 167 chests. Yes, I opened 167 chests, with the increase buff perma-on and have gotten absolutely no essentia, which is absolutely mad and enraging. At the exact same number of chests yesterday I would have had around 14-15 already. There is no other explanation for me really.
Now that I think of it - haven’t got 1 from a chest today either. Got one from jiro cache tho.
seems I was wrong, just after I left that comment, got around 7 progenitors in around 2 hours. It’s decent gold/hour, but more then that, I rotate my alts going through caches. They all got the +50% cyphers buff, so I basically gear them with free cypher equipment / elites drop, up to 252, while getting passive gold from the chests.
