I levelled my priest, Julianne, during the dragonflight pre-patch. Back then we were told that threads of fate will be gone. And it is if you’ve been there at any point in time before hitting level 60. You’ll know the issue: There’s no way to skip the campaign.

I really need TL3 (:
I found a way to go around it. Note: You need to have finished the campaign at least once on your account.
Now, for that to work you need a few things. A character that hasn’t been to the shadowlands yet. It can be a friend who’s willing to help, it can be your wow2 account and you opening wow twice at the same time using that.
It has to be level 10 at least. If you use a wow2 account that means you’ll have unlocked all the allied races you’ve unlocked on your original account if you don’t want to level up.(I’m using a void elf on my wow2 as you’ll see in a screenie below, in case you aren’t sure it would work like that) Honestly, it’s a very useful thing to have as quests sometimes bug out and Party Sync can save you from many, many bugs and also allows you to do rares that might be hunted on the regular shards. Do remember that you’ll be an undergeared level 61 though. Enemies might give you trouble there.
Back to the actual topic! Your next step is bringing the level 10+ baby to your embassy. Stormwind’s is to the north, accessed through the dwarven district if said character has no flying. The Orgrimmar embassy is to the west, really easy to find. Both are named on the map if you need additional help finding them.(However you can and should use your actual character to fly them as you’d need to go to the Shadowlands starting point as well together.)
Now that you’ve done all the prepwork, time to do the actual skip.
Your first step is enabling party sync. The party leader character has to open their map and they’ll find the button bottom right. Click that, then have everyone in the party agree to enabling it. Let the low level character pick Shadowlands’ starting quest and fly together there. You should now have the option to skip the Maw quest on them, your main character will have to pick the quest on the spot and skip it that way(far as I’m aware you don’t have to skip but I haven’t tested it, to be sure)
Here’s why it took me a while as it just didn’t cross my mind for some reason: Once your main character goes to the shadowlands you’ll still have the quest for your leaders for some reason. That’s fine! Now have your group leader disable party sync. Enable it again. You’ll be met by a familiar grey filter over the game and Fatescribe Roh-Kalo floating your way. You’ve done it. Disable Party Sync and choose your covenant. You’re now free to do as you please in the Shadowlands \o/
