I just watched new Coca-Cola ad and I had dejavu, then I rewatch BFA cinematic. Is this plagiarism?
If so then Blizzard have huge legal troubles. WoW’s a collection of rip offs.
I also want to know what BfA you played.
Omg, what a disgrace. Unleash Garrosh on those infidels!
I’d say it’s more a reference than plagiarism. A horribly made ad btw.
I haven’t seen either tbh.
I watched it, it is a discount bfa cinematic basically and aims 10 year old kids probably as audience.
Coca-Cola has been a sponsor of Overwatch league and they quit sponsoring after the lawsuit.
Ad is stupid, you don’t play PvP games for friendship, you play to win, humiliate enemy players, to make them feel unhappy by giving that defeat or dead screen. Thematically cringe.
And /spit on them once you’ve killed them!
You can try of course, unless you are playing a woke-sjw game you probably can do that
Under normal circumstances yes it is the best part /spitting part.
About spit new Darklegacy comics:
I love Nuka-cola, Quantum is best.

I don’t know if you played the same BfA as I did. If anything this looks like an alternative version of the old Warcraft III Arathi cinematic. You could think Coca Cola is promoting cross-faction play though… Anyways, still a horrible ad.
Drinking sugar may make you invincible for like 5 minutes. After that you will fall into an bottomless pit of tiredness. This ad has it all wrong and coffee does the job way better, or perhaps an Red Bull.
So for cross faction we just need coke! Great
Yep! I bet bobby must be thinking of hiring coca-cola to do the writing, system, etc.
For coca-cola does have a clear picture of what today wow looks like.
F a c t i o n M e r g e C o n f i r m e d !
that has got to be the most stupid ad ive seen big corp make, all the hidden poop in there aswell, DIE ORC DIE!!!
That’s crossing a line! (see what I did there?)
/OnTopic, I linked the ad on my guild discord and most don’t get what it means by “You are only a coca cola apart”… It’s just too subtle I think.
That said, it was good to see gaming being used in an advert in a positive way.
Bobby Kotick is on the board of directors at Coca Cola. (No, I am not kidding).
