Haven't seen a single skeleton in the entirety of war within

Is this game getting softer and softer? I’m starting to think so.

And why should they be in Khaz Algar? The scourge has lost its purpose and is/was somewhat active in the Eastern Kingdom with some random forces. They are mainly active in Northrend doing scourge things but without a leading figure and have slowed down a lot in their production of troops.

Necromancers also arent really a big thing anymore and would likely cause the Argent Crusade and the Ebon Blade to intervene and eradicate them like they did during Shadowlands. The Jailer is also gone now.

On Khaz Algar they would either get killed by the Earthen, the Arathi or most certainly by the Nerubians.

Or do you mean corpses? I mean there are lot in raids and dungeons from players. And lorewise I mean we even have an NPC that was quite literally liquefied by a very angry spuder. Another NPC doing an “unalive yourself” joke. People being imprisoned in webs to serve as fooder/breeding grounds as well as people being turned into puppets that are being controlled and the only thing still active is their mind to witness everything.

Or just take a stroll down in the crafting den near the big press by the blacksmiting table. If you can´t find corpses in the press at any given time, then your server is dead and you shoud consider transferring realms

“hey is that a skeleton I see on that bi…”

“well there is now.”

how could you say such a thing ? https://www.wowhead.com/item=224786/skeleton-king-outfit

Yes, Warcraft is indeed getting softer and softer. Has been doing so for a while.

It started with… well, it started with Pandaren. It’s not that Pandaren are inherently non-scary, but they took a cutesy angle with us.

In reality we are walking talking bears that are taller than elves and as heavy as a Tauren, and they could easily have delivered us that way.

That said, it is indeed getting worse all the time.

The Kara Catacombs are full of skellies, corpses and skull piles.

Yeah but that’s been in the game since vanilla, 2004

So spider people paralyzing people and making wax sculptures of them is not sinister enough for you?

Not such a recent shift in the game. Open world content has not been particularly difficult since maybe Wrath.
MOP had some difficult zones, Dread Wastes was one where you had to tread carefully, but mostly it wasn’t difficult.
I do seem to remember needing to do more careful pulls and avoid some Elites back in Wrath unless I had one or two friends with me.

Frankly noting wrong with that anyhow. Having more difficult content be somewhat optional is better.

There you go.

the siren isle is going to have a storm phase full of elites that you’re not supposed to solo, so there you go.

Your starting to think so? :face_holding_back_tears: Yeaaaa… We’re kind of a kids soft cartoon now.

go wipe in raid finder, there are plenty you just gotta look for them

It’s out next week right?
As I’m away over xmas I won’t get to this until January. Going by Forbidden Reach and Zaralek Caverns the zone will be empty by the time I get to it. So I’ll just have to avoid these phases.

Whenever Bliz try to make a zone more challenging they usually just make it more frustrating. Argus, Nazjatar and the Maw being prime examples. They just weren’t fun, so I didn’t go there. Loads of achievements and collectibles from those zones that I’ve never worked up enough enthusiasm to go back and get.

The skeleton is inside you.

Haha that’s right, I AM THE SKELETON

Note to self
Put manly skeleton on a pump and dump crypto scam.
